I started out with a friend giving me a plant ( the strain is Flo ) and one other ( I'm not to sure the name of this strain )

The one on the right is the flo

I have a real basic set up in a closet under a 4 bulb cfl light

I's using this 2 plants for clones ( only cloning the flo right now ) and I'm using a aeroponic cloner

We started out only taking 1 clone which failed on us ( never rooted ) and so i made a adjustment to the aero cloner I put a air stone inside of it, we also tried to use a dome we took a total of 5 clones next 4 of them we tried in the dome and we put 1 in the aero cloner, the ones that started in the dome we noticed were dying so about after 24 hours of them not looking so good we moved all of them to the aero cloner, all 5 of them rooted in about 5-9 days

After the clones rooted ( due to not having the tent all set up yet ) I put all the clones into rockwool cubes

After about 3 days or so roots started to show at the bottom of the rockwool and i had the tent ready to go so I moved them into this

1 1000 wt HPS/MH light
1 4x4 Tent
4 5 gallon buckets
1 6in carbon filter
2 6in 400 cfm fans
1 200 cfm fan booster
2 pumps ( 2 buckets per bump with a air stone going to each bucket )

Right now the temps in the tent are ranging from 75-85 I hope by next week I can get them to 70-80 ( ac is being fixed soon ) one day the temp did spike up to 90+ inside the tent and i think it started to cause root rot

The day I noticed this I added 2 tsp of h202 to each bucket and after about 3 or 4 days I plan to add great white the temps of my res is about 70 right now

We are now day 6 in tent

So today i checked my res temp and its between 75- 80, trying to get ideas how to cool it down, someone told me to freeze a water bottle and put it in the bucket, will that work?

Yes the water chillers will work I grow Dwc as well and in the summer I use frozen water bottles to keep my temps down Im usually around 75-77f if I pass that I then add the frozen bottle.

with four separate 5 gallon set ups your gonna need a chiller for sure...or some diy method but a chiller is more efficient and cleaner. people say take apart a water cooler or take apart an old fridge but id rather just buy a chiller, i have one 5 gallon bucket and consistently changing cold water bottles even into that gets old...fast. since my grow is small and more of a hobby not so much quantity i have an ice probe chiller, keeps the temps down like 6-10 degrees lower than ambient surrounding temps...if i ever decide to go bigger i already know i have to get a chiller.IMG_9153.jpgIMG_9154.jpgIMG_9155.jpgIMG_9156.jpgIMG_9157.jpg

Changes - I got portable AC unit , a digital ph tester, covered my 5gal buckets with reflective materiel,

Room temps are now between 70-77
Res temps are staying between 67-70
Ph is 5.8
PPM 1200

Also i added in a sweetener to my 3 part jungle juice
