dumb question- sulphur/iron smell in soil

I left my bags of soil mix sitting in my metal wheelbarrow. That night it poured rain filling the wheelbarrow and soaking the soil. It sat that way a day before I noticed what had happened. The soil now has a sulfurous-irony smell to it. I have several plants that need repoting and I dont have any more soil right now.
The question is..... is the soil ruined or can it still be used?
can I just let it dry out? or should I toss it?

let it dry out couple of days, also small 1/8 in holes in the bottom of your heel barrow will prevent this in the future.

Just let it dry out, it will be fine.
