Once It Gets To A Certain Point It Needs To Be Cut. If You Keep Letting It Go It Will Lose The Potency Of The Thc And The Smoke Will Become Heavier. Im Not Really Sure What It Does After That, Maybe The Bud Dies, Falls Off, And Then The Plant Starts Over? But You Dont Want To Let It Get That Far To Find Out Or It Will Be A Waste Of Your Buds.

you will know when the white hairs turn color, and the discs on the trichomes have matured into a ball of THC. If your trichomes turn brown you have waited too long.

the only stupid questions are the ones you don’t ask. you gotta start somewhere knowledge comes with time so ask away.

trichromes are basically the crystals that will form during flowering. as the plant developes farther the trichromes willstart to swell and form a ball on the end of them. when the balls turn cloudy/amber colored they are ready for harvest. im getting myself a microscope tonight so i can check the trichromes on my babies!

I heard somewhere that if you dont harvest your plant in time that it will actually turn into a herme and pollinate itself so it can live on through its seeds

once it hits the harvest time point you have to harvest it because if you let it go longer its a waste of flowering and budding time and it can end up killing your plant

LIGHT-POISONING METHOD: During the first three weeks of flowering, turn the lights on for an hour during the middle of the dark period. That is, 12 hrs. on, 5.5 hrs. off, 1 hr. on, 5.5 hrs. off, and repeat for the first 3 weeks, after which you may return to the normal 12/12 light cycle. This causes a plant to go "hermie" and pollinate itself, as well as any other female in the room. You must use plants originating only from female seeds or clones to ensure that no male chromosomes are present. The resulting seeds will produce NO MALE PLANTS!

ive had my plants growing for about 3weeks now. and i think i should start flowering soon, but there not that big. about 5days ago, they started haveing a growth spurt.

o yea im starting to grow some ghost pumpkins, and i was wondering if theres a way to like have mariquana and a pumpking cross breed or sumshit, so i can like get pumpkinweed or something. idk i heard about something like that happening before with some fruit, where 2 fruit combined.

I've checked my last harvest with just my eye. what you are looking for are little (for lack of a better term) what look like dicks sticking up all over the top leaves and stem when it's budding when these first show up they are clear. after a while (time varies) they begin to get cloudy/ murky looking I can see them without any sort of magnification, ('course I paint miniature figurines for a hobby, and am used to tiny things), but everyone here says , "you need a magnifying lens or a jewelers loupe." to each his own, but that is what they look like. little thingys sticking up all over the leaves. and don't touch them. they are super sticky with thc. It won't harm the plants it'll just be less potent 'cause you took some of it's goodness away when it stuck to you.
