Drying weed humidity and temps.

Hi there, I'm on my second grow and just started my drying out... I have my weed hanging upside down and have trimmed them back roughly and obviously stripped all fan leaves and the room is pretty dark.
My temp is 22 c at the moment and the humidity is 65% ! Are these fine conditions ? I would like to get the humidity below 60% but I don't think it's possible without putting the heating on in that room.

If you can keep things from molding, 65% is probably quite good. Do not let it get any higher though. The slower the dry the better. How long have they been hanging? Do you have some air movement in the room? I'm a couple weeks out from where you are and I too have questions on temp/RH. I'm going to be on the other end of the spectrum...low 60's temp and low 40's RH.

Only since yesterday and I have a small fan in the room oscillating off the weed.

Ok...I'm hoping others will chime in...65% is high but if you avoid mold your dry will be incredibly slow which will be great. I don't know your risk of mold at 65%.

I think that mold doesn't happen until over 60 % but 65 is pretty close so I'm guessing it should be fine being I have decent air movement.

My reading has told me that 70% is the magic number. Problem is, you could have 65% in the room but the air in and around the buds could be higher than that especially if there is not much air flow.

Most run into issiues at night when the temp drops . then the hummidy rises to the dew point

When this happens mold is very likely

65 is pushing it but I built a small drying room
I use a adjustable dehumidifier thats got intermittent on off settings

so I pull off everything thats not crystaly remove the huge stms to where they are all about 16 inc long branches

then I set my dehumidifier to 60 RH with a 1hr on 4 hour off

or more as needed (fat budds)

the dehumidifier keeps it a lil warm when its on
but not enough to stop the chlorophyll break down
takes about a week to 10 days sometimes I letem go slower as long as I feel good about it

hope this helps
