NO!.....do not put them in a plastic bag! ..........Instant mold!
I`ve done it several times. Dry`n with a raincoat,(incase of rain) not wrapped up. Mold wont set in in three to six days. not even mildew.
Not everyone has ideal conditions. I`ve too many neighbors to dry at home, but storage isn`t a problem. He said he needs to do it outdoors !i

I'd just try to find an evergreen tree & hang them inside it for a week, & take my chances.......good luck......

I live in New England , understand your wet season, we get them too, never had mildew or mold conditions. (I expected and got rain) If you`re worried, build a lean shelter hang them in there. But if you must dry outdoors, rain is not good !i

I was thinking evergreen tree and a 50 length of para-cord. Tie a stone on one end throw it up in the tree and tie the other end to the stalk and hoist is way up in the tree.

You think the dew will still get to it?
