Drying in Oak/ Cedar Lined Wine Cabinet

I was So lucky to recently acquire a Oak/ Cedar Lined Wine Cabinet.

The a/c unit lightly inserts air into the sealed cabinet while another fan exhaust the old air. So there is a very gentle movement of air always moving.

The inside is lined with cedar... which has a light smell.

Is this the perfect drying room or will the cedar effect the taste?

Anyone tried this before? See photo.

The cedar will probably compliment the taste! I had a cedar stash box and it was great.

Does it keep a certain temperature and humidity?

Yes the cabinet keeps a constant 55-60% humidity and a temp of about the same. Intake and exhaust air system keeps air gently moving.

I think I'll give it a shot..

I have pulled a few curing buds out of jars and left sitting in there.... they seem to be just fine with the taste.

thanks:leaf:
