Dry soil after germinating

Hey guys:

I germinated 3 seeds and all 3 sprouted so i moved them to fox farm soil and watered them. I just checked on them and found the soil very dry so i added more water. I thought that i wouldnt have to water them again for a few days so does this mean im underwatering if the soil is dry the next day?. Its in my stealth box with 3 cfl's and 3 pc fans.

Thanks guys

do you have the fans pointing straight to the soil?
stick your finger in about an inch if the soil is dry then ur underwatering.
sometimes the top drys up cause of the lights and fans but its still moist underneath.
just remmember underwatering is still better then over watering.

Fingering the soil is the best thing you can do to know about the soil moisture!

Uh, yes. Underwatering means daily watering means the roots stay short. Once the plant is somewhat established let periods between waterings and feedings get longer to force continued new root growth. Meaning in containers big enough to the job.
