Dry in 60 hours?

Temperature was 22-24 degrees celsius, humidity was 35-38% and they are dry as a bone. I only chopped them Sunday afternoon. How could this happen, and will that prevent me from being able to cure them? A few pics from Sunday...

Humidity was probably too low. You want to prolonge the drying as long as possible. You can still cure and it will def help but it might smell/taste like hay

Smell and taste is delicious to be fair. I've got them in glass jars. They do seem a bit stickier this morning so maybe it was just the outer buds that were dry as a bone.

How long did you starve the plants for before chopping? It could just be a case of there being less water to drive out. I've had it before with more airy buds, they've dried in less than 4 days but I make a habit of not watering my plants up to 5 days before chopping, just so i can shave a day or so off of drying. It's not a method I'd endorse, but works out pretty well for myself.

I starved them for 2 days, and the buds are a bit airy. That'll be why then. Cheers dude

ya ive had that happen with my first ever grow.. it came out horrible to be honest.. dried so fast.. that it smelled tasted like hay.. and was so mad .. but then the second time.. i dried only for 5 days.. and then took off stems.. and put into jars.. and burbed the jar.. every couple hours first couple days.. then let stay longer as the days go on without burping.. and they actualy didnt come out to bad.. can anyone give me some pointers. i just threw my large grow into flower.. got 10 large 3 feet plants.. and 2 3 bushy 2 footers.. and 5 small 15 inchers.. and in a couple more weeks ill be adding some from the veg room .. to have harvests every couple weeks.,, but i want to make them smell and taste like the kid i bought them from.. his stuff is amazing and i have same strains and want it to b like that..
