Here's an update, The ole girl is still is alive and kicking and starting to show buds with some white hairs. I'm getting a lot of new growth down below.

This was my view early this morning.

Now on to the fun stuff and she is 32 inches tall. Sorry the pictures aren't the best.

The Clones

7 days and I'm starting to see roots.

Half ass exhaust

Here I put gaps on the shelf to increase air flow.

PC fans mounted up top.

The PC fans aren't ideal but they seem to be doing there job.

That's all I got.

Peace.

sun, a dog and grass as far as the eye can see ... it's all turning green. cow patties? old oozer lays thin sausages if i don't give him curry or something swish, then he's more likely to paint a headstone brown. he's young and such a wonder. peace

cheers for the headsup on overfiling, i started mine totally to the tipperty topness, glad they have made it so far. i now have the water level about 2" below the netpot. and have done so for quite some time. there was something else but my finger is too tired to scroll. do you think a bong is good idea?

Yeah hopefully this strain has a short flower time. I'm hoping just 6 more weeks till its time to chop but I'm prepared for the long haul. What ever it takes.

Oh and by the way I tell myself that I'm a winner every night before bed time.

Peace

right on man how long did it take for them to root
What up josh. 7 days to see signs and 9 days in that picture.

Right on Dropa!

They rooted fast!!!! :bigjoint:
All thanks to you my brother. Just a heads up. Those stems were submerged a cpl of inches into the water. I wanted to wait to see the results before I told you what I did.

Do you snap the lid down on your bubble cloner or do you just set it on top the cloner?

At first I just set mine on the top of the bucket but I was worried about getting light in my bucket through the slits on the lid. So I snapped it on. You know it's a real bitch getting that lid back off without disturbing the clones after you do that. And even harder to make sure your water level is okay. So after doing some reading on ICmag I said screw it and filled the cloner so the stems were submerged.

Seems to be working out well my friend.

Good morning Dropa,

I usually leave the lid unattatched to the bucket, so I can check on the roots without disturbing em much.

And yes, you can either have em slightly outta the water, or submerge em.

I have done it both ways, and noticed slightly faster rooting times when they are barely outta the water.

Thank you for the kind words, and Im glad i have helped you out some.

Donkey.420 showed me the dwc Cloner bucket idea, and I follow his directions, and sent the idea your way.

What a terrific cloner eh?

Here's what my clones look like this mornin'

4 Glass Slippers, and 4 Northern Lights #5's :) Im on my 3rd day, I believe..

One thing that I do, that alot of others dont.

I add nutes to my cloning water.

I have the 0-5-10 lucas formula going.

And 3 drops of Superthrive.

And of course, ya cant forget the cloning powder in the water.

It gives them food the minute they get roots.

My theory is this,

If ya dont give em food, they'll use up their own reserves and go yellow on ya..

Why stress em out any further. Feed em early!

caution: Some strains might not do well getting food this early.

Thats why i dont reccomend this to others.

I have had good luck doing it this way. :)

Keeps my clones green, and healthy.

Bye 4 now, Im gonna go play in da Sun!!! CG :)

Yeah well I guess I need to throw Donkey420 some rep his way as well because its a great bubble cloner.

speaking of that I've tried to throw you some rep but I guess I need to spread some out first.

Also I was gonna ask you about adding nutes to the cloner. I think I will give them 1/4 strength at first. Just a little ought to do em good.

Aight man you enjoy that sun. I'm still in a little cold spell were I'm at. It's only 48 degrees right now. It'll be warming up within a cpl of days.

Peace.

Peace.

I think its because I add nutes to the res when im cloning.

And yea, the flat disk style air stones help things out, im sure.

Might wanna try adding a small amount of nutes, and see how they react. ;-)

Im sure they'll thank you for it.

Update on the clones.

Pulled all the clones from the bucket today so I could get the lid off to monitor their progress a little better. All are doing well except for one that is little behind all the others. It's not rooting nearly as fast as the rest but I'm not worrying about that at all.

I'm gonna add some 1/4 strength nutes at some point but I'm concerned that it may be to soon because I still have at the least 5 to 6 weeks left to flower on my female. I'm not wanting too big of a root structure before I move them into 5 inch net pots. So long as the main tops are still looking green and healthy I'll hold off for a little while yet.

Here's the pics.

I'll be going back to my normal routine of posting pics every Wednesday for my only female. She's starting to really put it on now. It really makes it hard to see the difference when you look at her everyday. That's why I like to take pics a week apart So I can compare her growth from week to week.

Its funny, When its all nice and warm down there, its all cold and miserable over here..

And now its the opposite.
11.52 AM and it's only 52* where I'm at homey.

Peace.

Awesome cloner, cool results. I'm going to be building a cloner soon for my Blue Moonshine mother,
I was going to go the mister route but this looks cool, unfortunatly I wanted atleast 20 sites for clones so I might still have to go with a larger rubbermaid but still, well done.

What's up man? Yeah I'm really pleased with the bubble cloner. I had roots just starting to show @ day 7.

Although I got give all the credit to my main man ClosetGrowth for giving me the info on how to make it.

Don't be a stranger.

Peace.
