Droopy, Sick Looking Plant, Please Help!

Please help me out here:

I've got a plant 1 week into flower that is having some major issues.

At the base of the plant the leaves turned brown and died. This I am guessing is due to lack of light. Only the bottom set of leaves are affected with this and it's been like that for awhile so I am not to concerned with it.

About a week before I put it into flower the mid leaves started to droop and curl. The plant is still green in color. The new growth at the top of the plant looks healthy as far as I could tell.

I tested the soil and found the Ph to be 7.5 or 8. I know that is bad and have added some alluminum sulfate to a couple of waterings to try to bring it down.

I flushed it one good time.

My water's Ph is at 6. (Before adding the sulfate. Just tested it today)

I not sure what to do here. The rest of the plant seems to be doing badly and if I don't do something soon I am sure it will die.

I don't think I am over or under watering. I water thoroughly every second or third day after testing with a moisture meter.

Can it be saved? Any suggestions.

I know pics might help and I will try to attach a couple in the next couple of hours.

Thanks.

One more thing to add. The temp is maintained around 80 degrees.

Yes it can be saved, seems to me you are having a issue with your ph. Get your ph (water/fert) at 6.5 and always have it there. You did the right thing by flushing.

That is what is confusing to me. I am not sure how to raise the Ph of my water and Lower the Ph of my Fert at the same time. How is that done?

I would think that if I continued to water the high Ph soil with the low Ph water, that they should balance. No?

How would you do it?

Thanks for the tips on Ph. I've adjusted the Ph on all my water. I haven't had the chance to use any of it yet. Turns out that my problem may have been overwatering, which I don't understand because the plant next to it (Which turned out to be a male by the way and I had to remove it) was healthy getting the same amount of water. I think the pot for the bad plant simply did not drain as well.

I noticed that the moisture meter read wet for a couple of days and moist for a couple, and each day the plant seemed to look a little better. I checked it last night and again this morning and it one or two spots it's moist and in a couple of spots it dry. I am trying to hold off watering until it's dry all the way around.

Hopefully she keeps doing better. Again, thanks for the help.
