Those first two photos of the bottom of your old soil is nasty. That is some shitty looking soil. Hey next time you go to the Garden store, look and see if they have a different type of material that helps drainage. For the life of me I can not remember the name. But it has (Lite) at the end of the name also. Like Feralite, or Hemalite or something, this stuff works pretty good for drainage and air also.

Anyway, I bet you will do much better with this soil. Wish you had more perlite in it though.

ya it looks like regular ground soil from the garden. looks like probably the issue here

hopefully by the end of the week they'll be back to there regular perky selfs... they grew so much and they just stopped... its sad

sounds like the soil just had enough. they are pretty resiliant plants they will be ok.
