Droopy leaves .. cause??

Could my droopy leaves be because I induced my flower nutes a week early? I think they're trying to be triggered to flower but arent getting the time schedule they want. Could this be the cause of my droopy leaf problem?? Its not a watering issue.. and I cant seem to find anything else besides my tap water.

how about putting some pics up so we can better base our opinion.

I've got JB,3D,wrhino whose leaves face up towards the sun,then around twilight the leaves droop or as I like to say"relax".
What time of dat are they doing this?
I think with the flowering nutes is all you're doing is lowering the nitrogen ratio.

Yeah I wouldnt say it was cause the bloom nutes, are you sure that its not over or underwatering??

I wouldn't think that the nutes have anything to do with it, you are only giving the plant different ratios of nutrients. And if you are growing all organic, the ratios arn't that high. I would say either over/underwatering. Let's see some pics though.

Its not over-watering. I let them sit until they got bone-dry because everyone was telling me over-watered.

I watered them once they were dry, they began to perk up but got droopy at the end of the day.

Going to start watering from the bottom up.

Were they looking like that before you decided to let them dry out awhile?

If they were dry, then you watered and they perked up.. they're telling you they need more water. At that plant-to-pot size ratio, you can water until it runs out the bottom a little -- that will tell you they've had enough.

My plants were using a potful of water every day for awhile -- the consumption goes up and down with the stages of the plant, changing the photoperiod, etc.

Hi. They were looking like that the entire time from before water, to water, to dry. <- After that dry period, I watered, they perked up a tiny bit then got way worst by the end of the night.

Never ever let them get bone dry!! why would you do this?would you wait till you're bone dry before drinking?they do grow in water you know.

Rix, I didnt let them get "BONE" dry by any means. I let them sit long enough where I knew there wasnt any hidden moisture in the pot. Nice and light. I know how to water, my watering hasnt been the issue. The issue has been people telling me my watering is the issue. Which is partially my fault for second-guessing myself. Sorry for wrong use of words. My fault entirely.

Heres the deal. This morning I switched them to 12/12 because they seemed to get worst EVERY long day. They didnt seem to like the 18/6 schedule. They would perk up breifly when lights came on then get droopy again. This morning at 7 am when I turned the lights off for 12 hours they looked like DEATH.

I left them alone and came into the room 30 minutes ago right when the lights were sparking up. Everything is dark green still and looks great. There is a slight droop but they look literally 5x better then they did when I left.

I came them some fresh H20, im going to go to the gym and see how they look when I get home..

This open sesame stuff (which is VERY hot) might have been trying to trigger the flowering just as Fox Farm advertises...

We're going to get to the bottom of this real soon.

Ok they can live without water but if you drown them they are dead. I had this same problem for quite a while with my Ultra Haze 2 and the only thing that I gathered, cause it wasnt over or under water I think it was because of the light and heat almost like they were getting so much light at an early age maybe that was too much I dont know. I eventually gave up on trying to figure it out and sonner than later the 1 I had a problem with corrected itself. My PS on the other hand I drowneded them on accident and they drooped very bad. Yours dont loook like that they look like the Ultra Haze 2, all I can say is keep your eye on them and I think they will be fine. Oh I had 1000w on them about 12 inches away from a 2 week olld plant of course it was an air cooled hood but thats why I think I had too much light at that stage. I hope this helps a little. 1st and 2nd pics are of the drowned Power Skunks and the last is the droopy Ultra Haze2 you ccan see the rest of the leaves are nice and perky in the background.

I gave them a lot of fresh aqua last night and they're looking much better. WE'll see how they look come lights on tonight.

Give us some info to help us out with your problem a little better. What strain are you growing? What size pots? What is your soil mixture? What kind of lights are you using?

They could be a little root bound. And now that you said that you are using Open Seaseme and all that other Fox Farm sludge, it may have to do with that. That tri-pack fox farm line is not all organic. With ratios like 0-50-50 you are pushing the plants to hard.

I had this problem with a couple of my Hazes as well. Sativa's tend to be very picky about what they want.

Zombies rite my Ultra haze are pure sativas too.

Hey zombie. I put them into 12/12. They defiently wanted it. That was the ordeal. They were sucking in that open sesame and werent happy about the light schedule they were getting. Mucho happier with more rest.

hey man i am growing organic too and i am having the same problem my plant seems to be saggin like the 1st set of leafs are ok but as it goes up it sags more and its not a water problem with mine either

When you let a soil get fully dry, it will sometimes repel rather than absorb water. Maybe a little of that going on here? If so, the fix is to soak them from the bottom of the pots. That will restore the capillary action of the soil.

Your plants look great otherwise; I can't imagine what else it would be.

Kriegs, +rep. I got some trays for the bottom of my pots. I watered them and let them drink there runoff. They seemed to drink it up pretty fast, so I watered from the bottom again.

I was using RO water this time.
