Drones to sex plants on hemp farms? Or some faster way?

I have a buddy in CO who knows loads of people. He said some guy has a service to sex plants using a drone. The idea is to find the males on a hemp farm with 40 or 100 acres a lot faster.

Anyone hear about something like that? Sounds crazy. I wonder if males have a different infrared signature or???

Any other suggestions to getting through 40 acres or more looking for male hemp plants without going crazy?

Also in the future is it better to use seedlings versus feminized seeds?

Why would you find the need to find males in a hemp farm is my question? I mean you can use all the parts of a hemp plant including the seeds. Male plants still can be cut down for use of its fibers.

Pretty sure the wind and bugs do that naturally...I lived in kansas for a while where hemp grew everywhere wild. All the plants were seeded.
