could I drill small holes (1/4in) near the top of my 10 gallon res on opposite sides, and put a fan blowing air through? would this increase oxygen to the roots? im sure some of you out there have tried this, let me know results
A bubbler is all you need for oxygenated water to root contact. I have to indepenent pumps/airstones in mine. fans arent really needed. Besides you want your roots in COMPLETE DARKNESS. Fans may compromise that. Good luck.
you dont want any holes in your res. 1 it will let light in 2 it will mess with the humidity in the res. a good strong air pump and air stones is what you want.the more bobbles the better. good luck and grow on
