dried to wet ratio. anyone know

anybody know an estimate, like a ratio from wet weight to what it will dry out at, say i had 300grams wet, is there an estimate what it will be dry?

bud to stem ratio will make a diffrence but i find about half usualy? I was wondering what others had once they dries also. I found 300grams wet got me an average of 150dry. Never worked with exactly those #'s but you get the point.

Thats about right, same here. Sort of depends how ruthless a trimmer you are.

say i trim off all leaves, and i weigh the buds with minimum stems, almost to where it would be sold, little ass stems.

300 wet will get you 100 dry.

Since starting indoor growing I became more lenient with the scissors. I want as much goodish smoke as i can manage.

I'd say anywhere from 50% - 70%. 3:1 is usually good guess.

no way i trim very clen and use the leaf for other things....butter, hash, oil, ect. NO leaf on bud to smoke, but if i run out i will smoke leaf

I was going to do the same with my crop. Chop all the leaves off so its pure bud. Then make hash.

ok i harvested my plant and got 153 grams wet, lets see what i will get, i trimmed off all leaves, most of the stems, just left enough stem to tie.
