Dried pot a little too much

a piece of bread works wonders, gotta check it after every few hours, but everything ive tried leaves at least a small amount of weird scent in the bud, i think that the fan leaf method would probly work great and now i want to try it.

Put it in a jar with moist papper towels, not drenched, keep an eye on it every 6-8 hours to not get too wet, it wont affect your smell or taste of the nug

We just had a heat wave and my pot dried to the point where it crumbles pretty easily. I was thinking about leaving it outside overnight in paper bags to give it just a little moisture. I dried it outside and noticed that each morning the bud would be moist compared to the end of the previous day. Should I attempt this? I really don't see any harm because if it gets too moist I will just reverse the effects.
