Yo rollers, Im trying to not shoot my own feet here, reality checks welcome, my ac has been out(freeon leak) and I'm needing to get it fixed.
The ac is in a closet inside adjacent to the door to the room. About 5 ft through the wall to the ac.
Although they might not need to go in the adjacent room, the circuit breaker is there.
6x6x4 ft of tents is wayy suspicious so...
I got 8 50 gal Rubbermaids and was able to fit all of them in 5 containers with 3 for the equipment/paraph
Once packed up I was going to cover the inside with big trash bags to limit air transfer (hr b4) and leave my carbon filter in a box over the totes to keep scrubbing the closet.
Followed by febrezing the entire atmosphere and opening all the windows. Vacuuming, Cleaning walls/surfaces with lysol n Clorox wipes, taking all trash out
Make sure to (re/de)organize the space
And a box fan near the filter to cover the noise.
But before even going through this hassle it does NOT smell when I first get inside the house I still smell that lumber smell as it was new but has significantly weakened over time. I might be able to fit them all in the 4x2 stacking and put the filter in their if that would control the smell better than packing rubber totes ready to explode, but I feel like sealing them+ febreze carbon filter + bacon on the outside would be stealthier
My main concern of the possibility to be overly saturated and desensitized to be able to smell that lumber background and not detect any other after smell being out of the house for a few hours. The air coming out of the filter smells super clean. But I noticed the first week using it the house smelled brand new overwhelmingly lumber again which it does still now but I have to try and smell, I was thinking about get a fresh new one but the filter still still works great to my knowledge. I'd hate for there to be a musty undertone. I remember veg leaving a tomatoey smell within a 6 ft radius when I started that's essentially impossible for me to make out now until theyre in my face. One that I chopped the other day to me had no smell up in my nose although others did. I think I should be fine, the paranoia makes me plan it out well, better to work out all the details than to skimp, I just need to hold someone's hand
