DR60.250w HPS. OG Raskal White Fire

My friend just started a 4 gal dwc set up. They are growing fast and strong. Im a soil grower, but i have to admire the monsters he is getting off his set up. Man i would love to have a 1000 watt set up. IT TAKES SPACE tho witch i dont have.

There is always space, you just have to find it lol

I am moving to Seattle next year. I cant wait to upgrade my set up. I have been using my cab for 2 years now and i keep it stuffed. Cant wait to see what i can do with a 1000w or two or three...lol

Well I believe the stretch is done, buds are just starting to form all over so I bent the fan leaves out of the way to get some better light penetration. I'm not a fan of removing or trimming the fan leaves so don't ask or suggest it (lolz)

I figure another week and bud development will fly off then I can start paking on the feeding a bit more. As I last fed them Bloom and Protek i was at about 788ppm, seemed good to me. Well let me know what you guys think.

Hahaha dont let the pics fool you its kinda crowded in there, I might get some good top buds but the lower buds will be popcorn. Im already starting to plan out my next grow. %gal DWC setup and im going to grow OG#18 If figured out how to use this space and I think I can get more field from one plant.

Lol. Planning does help. I was thinki hydro for my next one but I have all the soil stuff.. ill see if I can use it all up. Figure where I am going wrong then try hydro

I think with mynpc ill be happy if i get some popcorn buds lol

going into the third week of flowering Id say that growing out Wifi is fairly awesome, aside from the fact that once again have ran out of room on a grow.

The light is all the way to the top of the tent.

In the next 2 weeks we should see some serious buds start to develop on them.

anyone worried about making the jump from CFL's to HID take note... lol

Wonderful color green going on in the center of those girls, ever considered supplementing with some LEDs? Even those cheap no brand UFO's would throw your trich prod up a bit..

I have considered it but at this point with the size they are inside a 2x2 area i doubt I could squeeze an LED light in there, maybe next run when I try one plant in DWC setup.

Every shape and size brother. There are some better ones with Epistar chips that are ran at a higher current, though I am a panel lover- there are also some small socket style floodlights that are becoming quite the hit for some fellow LED lovers on the micro- scale.

Though you're right, with a 250 in 2x2... doubt you'll feel too many differences from much else.

I mean if I had a DR120 or anything larger I would consider the extra lighting , hell I would even rig some T5's to the outer poles to get more light in the tent, but with this amount of space I believe the 250w MH or HPS is perfect. Yield in this space is just dependent on how many girls you want to run. So with that being said I believe my next run with 1 plat in a DWC % gal bubbler will be an even higher yield than this one, simply because i can veg longer and do more training to get better light penetration.

It saddens me to say this bit i have to chop one down. It hermied on me and its to the point to where i cant save it by scraping them off and instead of wasting more time on it im going to just cut it down. Oh well i guess that cured my space problem lol

Thats after this current fairy tail is over hahaha

Id say they are at day 19 from the start of flowering, still a ways to go but the buds are definitely getting bigger. I will keep everyone posted in the coming weeks. Feeding has become extremely frequent and this strain is taking some fairly heavy feeding right now...
