That sux
I'd recommend calling all your local dispensaries and asking them for a contact to a compassionate dr or maybe even an rn
Might want to contact some local media outlets and government officials aswell
I'm going to talk with our MPP as they claim it's provincial!
my nuts are getting very sore from all the kicks!
i am really blown away how they are trying to stop us.
they just rammed through the nasal spray to help with fentanyl OD's yet people who's quality of life is almost nil
so mad....

i am so pissed i could spit!!!
just got a call from MCRCI and what a kick in the nuts!
according to the College, you now need a Dr referral to be signed up at their clinic. if your family Dr is against it (like mine is) you won't be referred.
the referring Dr has to have "longitudinal care" which was explained to me as "your on-giong Dr"
they signed me up previously so i don't get how they can't now.
they gave away our appointments.
this just keeps getting better and better.......
I knew this would happen and even worse is people want to "Snitch and say they are being charge. "*sidebar drs can charge for paperwork"

What happens if no dr's want to sign in the end.

lawyers got paid and then dropped the ball, that has never happened before.
golly, I guess the government will have to help us now. (as I am writing this I am struggling to not throw my computer against the wall)

could someone please tell me what qualifies a doctor to know anything about cannabis, who trained them, what knowledge do they posses, and this pills & pot bitch should answer the same questions.
My doctor openly admits that i know more than she does....and she supports me using cannabis....where are all these doctors? do we have too many doctors in this country that are afraid to practice medicine because they may not be able to stay in the country? I know that when i tried to get my kids family doctor to sign off on the disability tax credit ( he's type 1 diabetic) i was interrogated about the amount of time i spent dealing with his disease. i went to his specialist and they told me if i didn't have the forms they could provide them and absolutely no problem....and it didn't cost me anything either.... His family physician was a new doctor to this country....just sayin'....

well I have another appointment in 2 hours, see what they do this time. some reason fusing my back together sounds like fun.... except for me. my xrays of my back show vertebrae that look like crumpled beer cans. plus I have and extra viertebrae in my back - linking me to an ape - I think.

sure would be nice if HC 's pills&pot would make herself available to people that she is harming from her ivory tower.
I, along with many others deserve some answers. she cant hide forever.

Doctors, generally, can charge for 'paperwork' for things like sick notes, and other ancillary paperwork. They are NOT allowed to charge just for writing a prescription, comparing the two is beyond disingenuous. Labelling people who fight back against being extorted by unscrupulous medical professionals as 'snitches' is ridiculous.

If no doctors want to sign? Sounds like a perfect court case to undo some bad precedent. The reaction in general from provincial medical colleges is something that wasn't present the last time doctors gatekeeping came up in court, and neither was doctors signing for LP's but not for home growing. People being held hostage by doctors / provincial colleges is no better, and some would argue a lot worse than being held hostage by Health Canada.

the court has already determined we have a right to access....period....
Let me ask you this.

Did your family dr sign you to the acmpr.

I know that you where having trouble before. Can you force your Family Dr to sign you. If they won't what do you do to WILL THEM/ FORCE THEM TO SIGN.

How and what will the courts do to them since there has to be access.

Like I asked @WHATFG

What do you do. Wait for the court system for months or pay a dr.

Ill break down the fee, as told
If you come into the clinics
they" interview you about your cannabis use" try to make "reccomendations" /and fill some paperwork maybe an extra sheet by them/ and skypecall.

You think some Dr is going to risk his practice over a fee few hundos..

These clinics WOULD have ALL been shut down since 2009 when most started to come around.

Sorry a few people are just now entering the growing part of the program and want to grow there own, but complain all you want! Just more deaf ears. Bottom line if they couldnt it would have been gone.

They are not the ones to be MAD AT. BE SALTY at your family Dr. Goto your family dr and tell them what you have to pay because they wont sign.

The problem is not these companies! 2001 till now a medical marijuana program has been in place.

And there have been many complaints to members of parliment, what you guys think you are the first ones to beat your chest and say this is not fair...

Siggggh. GOOD LUCK

Charging sick people thousands more to grow than for LP product is absolutely 'the fault of these companies'. It is nothing but pay for play, it's the newest political scandal that no one is talking about.

Saying 'this unethical practice is ok because they haven't been shut down by now' is also ridiculous, I guess Allard et al should have just given up and not taken their case to court because 'the MMPR would have been shut down if it wasn't ok'? All other activists should have just given up because court cases take time?

Your entire line of reasoning is nothing but pay for play apologism.

No MY ENTIRE LINE and you still have not touched on this is simple if family Drs would sign How could such companies exist.

So whos fault is it that they found a niche market to enter.

Let me play the "Devils advocate for a second".

Lets look at a simple word

Capitalism
an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

synonyms: free enterprise, private enterprise, the free market.

@JungleStrikeGuy who signed your paperwork just wondering or are you an mmpr or mmar or nothing

Doctors aren't under any obligation to sign anything. Doctors generally want no part of medical cannabis, it was foisted on them as Harper's way of 'complying' with a court ruling by making doctors the sole gatekeepers.

If you support clinics gouging patients because capitalism, then you also support things like drug companies increasing the cost of medications 1500% because profit, and gouging people for epi-pens because profit.

You're not playing devil's advocate, you're endorsing the mess of a healthcare system the US has in which people end up in 6 figure debt for medical treatments, because 'capitalism'.

Bottom line You Either Have Your Family Dr sign or Pay to Have a clinic sign you on or Dont Grow.

Im glad you see the type of world we are in. People can work and save $50 from each check if you are on welfare MOST clinics give a Huge Price break.

So LETS talk about Access. Since 2001 not 2016. This has been the issue and in courts. What are you going to do different to change the system?

What have you been doing to bring changes and Be Honest im open to this.

@JungleStrikeGuy

I dont believe you are on the program. But if you are who signed you up and how did you get it free.

I think by now you would have already stated this becuase I can see you are here to help the people. So how does one get there paper work signed?

My personal situation isn't relevant to critiquing endorsement of pay to play. The bottom line is clinics charging a nominal fee, even if they shouldn't be is not the main issue of contention. Clinics charging thousands to grow vs not thousands to order from LP's is wrong and unethical, and should be reported to regulatory organizations.

If it wasn't ok for Kamerman, it's most certainly not ok for anyone else.

I remember dr Kamerman back in the day too. He would travel around and do services. He might "have been involved in a little bit more" then just signing, " we will just leave it at that".. ..

Are humans supposed to feel sorry for people because they are sick? If everything is based on love why dont dr's get paid the same amount as the Army?

So if these clinics didnt exist how would people be singed. You act like there is no need for these clinics.

They are here to stay. One goes down two more come to fill the place.

we signed up with them in 2012. they want all updated information due to us not going back each year cuz we were covered by the injunction!
Huh? So what? They should have told you that before hand. So in reality they want to charge for the paper work and back and forth visits? Its been a week now and still no phone call. Nice fucking service...

Contact a compassion club or go in person and ask them about decent docs. That's how I found the doc that signed me up for free and it was the first place I walked into.

A doctor or clinic is not required to apply to grow. Just to sign off on the recommendation for you to use cannabis as medicine.

The pot clinics are just into for the money whether it's legal for them or not. Most dispensaries run on the same principle too even tho it's claimed "To help patients". It is an effective form of civil disobedience against the wrong-headed prohibition of a natural remedy tho.

:peace:
