So Ive got some beat up cuttings of a couple strains, and figured to have a go at practicing keeping the plants alive and well. I am starting the rescue in the lab(kitchen) and the patients will eventually be released once they have completed rehab. Definitely keeping them vegging, they are all in 24 right now with window sun and cfl's.
Here are the First pics: Started sometime in mid August:sept2012_086.jpg

So ,,, 2 Blueberry, 2 Blue Dream, and the rest are cuttings off one of my unknown fems. One of the blue dreams is the stick lookin guy. Our goal is to at least grow a Strong Mother of each strain.

The Blueberry from post #5.....Mainlined also...kodak 2012-2013 072.jpgkodak 2012-2013 073.jpg
and oh yeahh....I still have little blue dreams kickin in...i will get pics later on.

So long story short...i rescued almost all of them....maybe lost a lil blue dream or 2 but i got plenty of those. This went on to show me that this plant kicks ass and is quite resiliant. These all have been indoor@night and outdoor during the day. Indoor is still a couple t5's and a syvania 120. Nothing special about the nutes or soil either. Just potting soil with some vigoro mixed in. I give an occasional splash of superthrive water about every 2 weeks or so. I also water with my fish tank water.

So where did you rescue them from? Didn't see a show no Dateline NBC about abused marijuana plants...lol Definitely looks more like a lab then a kitchen. :bigjoint:

Well, at least you got to them before they were too far gone. Hopefully they'll reward you with some nice smoke. BTW, nice avatar!

alrighty update. on the girls is...i started gettin a prob with them just in the past couple days. Im thinking maybe the 60 degree temp they had to go thru outside(in the full sun)(company was over and i had to put em out). They came right back in at about 5pm. It was hittin the low 50's by that time and lost about an hour of direct sun. So they need some treatment... And Im definitly no Doctor yet...Im a Student...mind the Dr. in the Thread title @ this time. Im glad RIU is here to help!!!

Soil sample at your local university, very inexpensive. Lets you exactly where you are at.

for quick results you can mist with a 10% strength nutrient solution. Don't forget a wetting agent if they are going to be in strong light.

A well balanced nutrient profile will take care of both. If you do have some in smaller containers upcanning is a good idea. When a plant is root bound in can cause symptoms that look like other issues
Also, a larger pot can take the cold better.

Wouldn't sweat the ph so much, your leafs will tell you everything you need to know.

through the Mail is how you get your soil sample for future reference.

i use earthworm casting, kelp, fish emulsion, cow manure and some outside dirt in a 'tea' to get my soil living again.

Great data for that in the organic section on here.

thx Slab! I been checkin out some teas myself. Im almost convinced that I need to let these girls do their thing, once we get past this hiccup. They been in veg for quite some time(due to my lack of efficient lighting) I believe, their growth has been slow. I had planned on being in flower by mid January, but im being greedy I guess and trying to stretch for more yield.
