Nice grow log. I noticed you only have pics of the side of the light. Could you take a pic of the led panel side, so that people interested in this tech can identify the one you are using. Maybe include the lights plugged in and on. These style lights are good for low budget grows and seeing your plant, I can appreciate a nice bush. :weed:

looks tasty. and all those people say that cheap chinese blurple panels wont grow decent buds. :bigjoint: im sure that harvest will keep you happy for awhile lol

As the old saying goes: don't knock it till you've tried it! LoL the jokes on them in the end, they got bamboozled for some of them well over a thousand when in the end it can boiled down 2/3rds genetics of the plant and 1/3rd ability of the farmer

Thank you so much, I'm glad we can both enjoy a good bush via the internet lol

As requested the lights

Here the lights are one. Distance from roof of cabinet is about 3 inches

This was the older setup when I had the divider in there. It was one plant per light then, changed the setup in the last week of growing to this single cab system to fit three girls.

well played my dude. anything you're trying to improve on next run?
Definitely room for improvement, I'd love to add another 300watt led to improve outside edge performance. I would also like to improve on the yield of this Chemdog, all my other grows I average 95-110grams dried per plant. Off this Chemdog if I get 80 I'll be a lucky mofo

I've grown with mars panels, I have one growing vegetables right now. The buds can get nice trichomes, but that's just appearance, the buds are always crap compared to the CMH clones. You really can't prove anyone wrong with pictures, since appearance isn't everything.

[edit] Well okay.. not complete crap, but definitely not as good as CMH. That's all blurples though, not just mars.

gorgeous!... the buds dense? smoke report?

i don't know psyphish.. i grew with a mars reflector panel.. and i got some pretty buds, they were dense.. smoked great..not crap at all(ive smoked alot of good bud over the last 16 years of daily smoking lol..and crap too). a lot of the underbush i wouldn't call A+, but the tops were very good. and i preferred those mars grown buds to most of the dispensary buds i get for $40-$50(in canada). I dont think anyone was saying it will outgrow a CMH. but it will produce good buds, probably better than most of what we were buying before. and it allowed me to save for a cob set up after my first harvest.

i dont regret the mars purchase, even though its currently under my bed lol.

Thank you for the positive comments! I'll have it soon. I've only tried a few nugs and it's been stellar so far. As you noted the the top buds are the densest and the nicest ones. I have two smaller jars of anything that feel below the top 4 inches of the plant. That stuff is actually smellier but definitely fluffier.

Not fully dry weight so far:

Top Colas - 46.2 grams
Mid-level nug - less dense but smellier- 21.9 grams
Popcorn nugs- small about the size of a nickel, not dense at all 11.4 grams.

Total weight just shy of 79.4 grams. But expect to lose probably another 5-8grams as she continues to dry out over the next few weeks. Smoke report with more pictures up next week

That's decent ! I ran my first grow ever with even cheaper Meizhi lights and got over 9 ounces from three plants plus 4 in trim and popcorn.
For me, personally, that's good enough. Shure, it could be better, but I want to find my way of growing and maybe then I get better lights.
Round 2, with the same light, but withapplication of what I've learned...
March 10th. still in the 2.5x2.5 tent

Moved them to a 4x4 ....

This picture is today. So 19 days later...

That's the way I'm going about it, I've been growing since 2006, and before that I had about 10 years experience in citrus groves so I've tried to impliment all the stuff I've leaned along the way.

Your plants look amazing, a few of the leaf tips are burned but that's no biggie! I am literally astonished at how full they got!! Do you have a Grow Journal I can follow on those girls?

Thank you :)
The one plant either had too much food or got light burn. I'm not really shure. A grow journal? No, I don't keep one. I can tell you I started these up under a cluster of cfl lights for roughly 2-3 weeks. Growing in hp with bone/blood meal and fritted trace elements at 1tbs per gallon and I added 25% perlite.
Being new to hp I owerwatered them once. The symptoms went away shortly after I up potted into 4.6 gallon air pots. After that I got either lightburn or calcium or potassium deficiency or maybe even nute burn in two plants of which in one it can still be seen. I vegged for roughly 6 weeks watering only every 5 days in the air pots. Feeding every second time with 2 gallons of nutemix(foxfarm).
I had originally watered with only 1 1/4 gallon and got no runoff at all which makes me think it might have been nute burn. I topped them each around 4 times and used plant wire, through holes in the pots, to spread the canopy out, since I'm no fan of scrog netting. On the 14th I put them in flower, still watering every 5 days but with added flower nutes. Oh, and I use 5ml calmag and ph my water to 5.5 with apple cider vinegar. Occasionally I add liquid kelp.
That's all the info there is :)

I use no journal but I use a whiteboard to log stuff on like dates.
