the problem i have with these breeders that come up with these strains that no one has heard of except him.slaps this high price on them and ppl think wow it must be some good shit.idk.i guess once u get some yrs under yure belt growin and buyin seeds yu start seeing things differently... i order mine through www.bcseedking.com and u compare.thier both in canada.i bot 20 mendo purp fems and receive 27 of the same strain 165.00 include shipping.100% germ rate, large fatass frosty purple plants.idk.rdr.
You are right. I see both sides and I order the expensive seeds and cheap ones too. I try to control what strains I have and I am OCD about it too, but then my customers want certain strains and I originally was like, no you want..... then I realized that I should grow what I want to grow and if my patients want a few strains my ass shouldn't have a problem getting them. My Dr GT were worth the $200 absolutely, but like you said, I have had some $50 kick ass also.

Express shipping gets you a tracking number so that you can see that it was shipped and where it is in transit!

not a good idea to do the chargeback thing. the company in question will have to send the sales draft to your credit card company and the sales draft has what you ordered on it as well as your addess, phone number and any other information you gave them

Many stories, many opinions.

Here's mine;

First let me be clear, I do not know Dr. Greenthumb, I'm not associated with him, nor have I ever grew his gear, yet.
But I've been looking at his G-13 for quite a while, and yes I'm aware like everyone else that most all breeders exaggerate the yield and potency of their genetics and yes they are quite expensive.
But I did get the chance to actually see some of his G13 personally, a buddy of mine did an indoor grow and just finished them about a month ago.
What i can say is this, it was the biggest producing indoor strain my friend has ever grown, and he's been doing this for quite sometime.
I also got a chance to smoke it and was equally impressed so I made an order myself, my reason is to cross it with some absolute primo landrace Thai of my own.

You'd have to agree there is not a seed company on this planet that has no complaints, be it slow shipments, no shipments, germination problems, you name it.
So all of them have issues at one time or another, I'll judge them on how they take care of their problems and customers.

I've had a small issue on an order from Attitude, but they corrected it right away and I will continue being a customer. But I went through a nightmare with the Single Seed Centre, I gave them ample time to resolve the issues, they basically ignored me and that's the worst thing any company can do to a customer, needless to say, I will not spend another dime with Single Seed Centre.

The verdict is still out for me on Dr. Greenthumb, maybe he is a grumpy old fart on the phone, he seems alright to me in the emails I've shared with him.
The only thing that matters to me is, if his gear is as good as he says it is and he takes care of his customers, that's all I need.

So we shall see.

I think this is just more lies and proaganda courtesy of Attitude seeds. Everyone knows Greenthumb and Attitude are sworn enemies since Doc caught them in a clumbsy lie advertizing his C99 seeds for sale on their website the day after Doc's C99 was voted "Strain of the Year" at High Times. Attitude didn't actually have any and Doc called them out on it. Doc doesn't wholesale. Attitude spends a lot of time and free seeds trying to discredit Doc and Greenthumb Seeds. Doc may be a crotchety old fart sometimes but he doesn't rip people off and his genetics are among the best there is.

You can think whatever you want, the fact is that this is not an uncommon occurrence if you google it. It isn't a regular thing, but it's not unusual either. I'm still waiting on my seed replacements I was promised. I mailed them out on the 3rd week of March, I forget the exact day. So, I've been waiting for 6 weeks. I've been told to "call next week" more than one week. At least three emails trying to verify them getting the return have gone unanswered. Two of the calls I made, which were during business hours, were not taken in the office (The gal answering the phone confirmed this.). I wouldn't call it a scam, due to positive reviews from those who don't have issues. I just think most of the complaints are a result of a less than perfect supply system. On a plus side, my persistence paid off! It took six weeks, but they're in the mail today. Apparently the Doc had left them lying about because they were crushed in shipping, and he was unsure how many seeds I returned. Provided, there are better ways to handle it than ignoring me for weeks, but at least it's handled and the lady seemed genuinely sorry.

Also, implying that someone complaining of a bad experience is an agent of another company is just as bad as accusing someone giving a positive review of the same actions. It's rude, counterproductive, and only creates bad press for the person you are trying to support. If you like the Dr., just post your good experience and go on your way.

I ordered IAF seeds too, I have been waiting over a month now for the 6 replacements they were supposed to send me. I am a little put off by the somewhat unprofessional way they are running things. I've had 3 emails go unresponded to, and every phone call I made (Over an hour before their help line was closed at minimum.) has been taken outside of the office. Every time I have gotten a vague put-off, and a request to call back in a few days. These folks supposedly have good genetics, but they're no good to me if I spend $15 a seed on shit I can't even grow. If they're short seeds, and having a hard time keeping up. The decency to tell me they're backordered would be appreciated.
Did you have a germination problem with the first seeds?

I've had 4 orders from Doc with no probs. Some friends used him and had some bad luck with beans and he replaced them. I've grown Iranian auto, Iranian g-13, bubba and g-13. Every bean popped for me but the only one Ive kept around is bubba. I didnt like the flavor of the others but all were potent

Yeah, I wouldn't order there again personally. However, some people swear by the guy. If I'm paying a premium, premium service is warranted.

Why we even allow these threads on here befumbles me,i would bet a hefty 90% of these danger dont buy from so & so threads are from competing seedbanks using schill accounts, the tip off is when its a very low post count new member, like under 6 months & with under 100 posts.

The big letter all you cats thinks is supposed to come if your package is seized isnt a must on the post offices part, they are not required to inform anybody via letter when contraband is found, sometimes they do but not allways.

Trust not what you read in these anti seedbank threads boys n girls cause its big fukin business, some seedbanks will post bogus threads so beware of what you read .
