Dr Green Thumbs G-13

Has any one tried Dr Green Thumbs G-13???

These seeds are pricey ($200.00 for 2 beans) but if they can produce the amounts that he claims they would be worth the exspense! as well his Iranian autoflower looks great for outdoors next year.

I am on the fence about ordering from him after my bad experience with the Ontario Seed Bank (the white widow was crap). Can anyone vouch for the quality of his beans as the saying goes "If it sounds to good to be true than it probably is".Thanks in advance for any input.

For the most part Dr. Greenthumb is reputable and for the most part his strains are good. I was ripped off once with a fugazi strain of his, but again, for the most part he is reputable. If you want to know about Dr. Greenthumb's G-13 ask Dr. Gruber. He has a thread about it here, somewhere or another.

There has been a somewhat intense discussion going on, on a number of grow sites as to whether or not Dr. Greenthumb's G-13 is the real true original G-13 or not. Some say it is and others are positive that it is impossible for it to be the original. There is just no knowing for certain. Regardless, it is supposed to be a good strain.

The only way to know if it is worth the price is to purchase it and grow it.

Working with beans in large part is a numbers game. Two beans from even the most stable cross doesn't guarantee an award winning keeper. On price alone, I'd skip this guy unless you have a grand burning a hole in your pocket for 10 beans. For me, 10 beans from a reputable breeder known for strain stability is the minimum I'd purchase in order to guarantee that keeper pheno.

It depends on what you are looking for. It's potant and yeilds a lot....taste is better then i had anticipated, but its no Kush or sour diesel in flavor. Got a nice keeper out of a 3 pack...(every 2 pack comes with 3) got 12 oz's from 1 plant....my previous best was 5.
Very low odor during the grow so some will like it just for that if they need a stealthy plant.

Personally, the money issue doesnt mean that much too me. After 1 grow you have you investment back and more. After 2 or 3 grows the percentage of cost is so low that its meaningless....or at least thats how i see it.

I ran a pack (3 beans)

I still have all 3, haven't decided which one is best, they're very alike, which S1's should be.

WTF does a seed bank have to do with Dr Greenthumb ? He is an independant breeder that just happens to operate in Ontario where it is legal to sell seeds as a novelty.

i want to open a seedbank in ontario just 5 of my personal outy strains.

DAMN!!!! another strain i need in my gene pool. are these on Attitude? i am kinda on the fence with ordering from Canada. will they really ship to the US? or no. after the Marc Emery shit i personally feel more comfortable ordering from overseas. is this original G-13 on Attitude? i know Dr. Greenthumb is. $200 for 3 seeds almost seems worth it for a strain that will yield 12oz indoors. shit, even if you only grow 2 plants and get 1 male. im sold!!! just need to wait bout 3 more weeks to place another bean order. im counting down the days!!

i want to open a seed distribution website her in the states. ive been giving it serious thought over the past few weeks. but i also think, it may be a bad idea, lol! i know it would make money, just how fast could i make enough money to put a lawyer on retainer and to just have a few grand around encase shit goes down, i wont have to spend to many nights in jail. i figure if i get busted i could become a refugee in Holland or Canada, eh!

I am a newbie to this and my first purchase was in person from the Ontario seed Bank where I was taken advantage of to say the least!

I am looking for advice so as to help me find a reputable place to purchase quality seeds as I have no repercussions if I experience the same thing all over again (I work hard for my money and I don't have any to waste).

Frmrboi I see that you have more than a few post here can you steer me in the right direction?

No Dr. Greenthumbs gear is not on attitude. You have to get it from him. Doggy Nuts has a G-13 but Im not going to give you advice on getting it. I will however tell you I do plan on ordering from Dr. Greenthumbs in the very near future

You do know there is a seedbank review section? Most use attitude, sannies, herbies and WMS. Those are well known seedbanks.

Greenthumb gear can only be purchased from the Greenthumb website. No males in the g13...its feminized.

Greenthumb is safe...ive recieved many orders from him in less then 7 days and he has great stuff.

Also,that ontario seed bank is one of those fukin high priced seed flippers selling greenhouse seeds for 2-3 times the price of european seed banks like dopeseeds and hearbiesheadshop based outta the UK.

I've seen one seed bank in Montreal selling 10 Nirvana regular Ice seeds for 102 $ and I'd bought the same 10 nirvana ice seeds from dopeseeds for 30$ this past spring

And yeah Equinox,I've ordered from Greenthumb the last 2 years. His chemdawg is one of the most potent strains I've ever grew

In Canada ? Hemp Depot who has the best price for my favorite breeder TGA/Subcool
Vancouver Seedbank has some exclusive breeders that have great reputations; Jordan of the Islands, Wild Rose Seeds, Cash Crop Ken.
There's Dr Greenthumb's stuff if your job pays real well, lol

Greenthumb is real reliable, I've done his G13,Endless Sky, and just picked up his OG kush.

I have ordered many times thru Attitude and have had 100% success.

Same thing with Sannies and Canna Collective, all are great seed banks.

i missed the boat on greengenes' "potent pineapple" C99s, but knew him from MANY years ago in another forum. he was a nice dude in it for the love and top quality headstahes. HE was the originator of cherrybomb SATIVA, not to be confused with the indica of the same name. i always lusted after that strain too. i just visited his site the other night, and didn't see ANYTHING for sale.

I don't know anything about ordering from Dr Greenthumbs, his genetics do look solid to me though. But as far as ordering seeds from Canada i can recomend HempDepot and Vancouver Seedbank as well, i've used them both in the past, fair prices with exelente service.
