Dr Atomic Northern Lights #5 (Different From Atomic NL)

Anyone hear of Dr Atomic NL#5? On his website only
Atomic Northern Lights is mentioned, not a separate
NL#5. At most of the seed banks, Atomic Northern
Lights is listed but no NL#5.

I see at http://www.kindseed.com they have both
listed:

Atomic Northern Lights:

http://kindseed.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DR-nl

Northern Lights #5:

http://kindseed.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DR-NL5

I'd call it suspicious but Kindseed is listed as an offical
reseller on Dr Atomics website. I have friends that ordered
from Kindseed (Canadian genetics, Euro prices are insane)
and received with no problems so they seem to be legit.

Any ideas if the NL#5 at Kindseed is legit and different
than Atomic NL? I'm thinking it might just be Atomic
Northern Lights listed as NL#5 and costs $5 more for
some reason.

Thanks,

i have no idea in regards to your detective work, i've grown the A.N.L and it is good, real good if you love NL like i do. electric body stone, heady high and pain relief coupled with severe munchies. first time i smoked the stuff in a blunt i was in slo-mo or something, my eyesight was playing tricks on me. that might have been 6 years ago, still a lightweight then, the more recent grow was fantastic too but it didn't do the visual/slow mo stuff i got the first time, maybe it was a really nice sativa pheno the first time.

i think the Blueberry jam by Dr. Atomic (NL and Blueberry) is just as good, great smell in flower and better flavor after cure than regular NL, the high is alot more sedative and calming. chill weed.

From Dr Atomics site... it looks like Atomic NL is Northern Lights #5.

ATOMIC NL:

Sweet, smooth aroma and smoke. Prolonged intense
high. Short and stocky.

Flowering Time: Indoor 8 weeks
Approx Yield: up to 125grams
Lineage: Northern Lights #5

He has added more sativa to this that the original NL. What I have gotten from reading many reports on this strain.

I went with Classic Seeds for a original NL, all indica.. Have just gotten the seeds so this is all I know for now.

Original NL has some Thai in it. Always has. Not pure indica.

The Thai is totally visible in this PSBC NL I have... the thing looks like it is never going to finish. Even in the final week it looks like it is not done... but then you check with a scope and it is good to go. After drying it looks perfect. It is strange. I've been taking it to 9 weeks, but Im going to try 9.5 this time.

Beware, even Dr. Atomic states on his site there are many knock-offs of his strain. He even has a list of authorized resellers on here http://www.dratomicseedbank.com/buy.html

I have his NL, took it to 8 weeks and am taking 1/3 over the next 3 weeks to see how she plays... first cut is drying now and I haven't gone picking yet. Tempting, they look beautiful and smell great. The remainder is still bulking up, and looks promising.

Looks like you're okay with kindseed.com...

I should also add -- They did hermie up a bit, but I know that during my grow-room reno, there were a few days where I had abnormal light leaking in during the dark hours.

Regardless, I just fired up a taster and it's amazing. Very thick smoke, mildly piney, good over all body numb and seems midly-heady. I took the rest of the plant last night as I don't need the male flowers to cross my other girls.

I have a few, I also have one that hasn't shown sex yet... obviously more sativa dominant leaves, I'm hoping it's Thai dominant.
