DP BlueBerry Grow Review

I currently have 2 fem blueberries from dutch passions in hydro right now along with a red diesel and mazar.

I am in week 2 of flowering and i have been very dissapointed with their performance.

the first one split into 2 colas on its own mid-veg which isnt a bad thing unless your doing a sog/lollipop style. As of now it has a shitload of bud sites (i topped both colas) but it is half the height of the others.

the second blueberry started growing banannas (male parts) on it days after sex showed. i picked them with tweezers and none have returned.

Out of the 10 or so plants i have in the same room, none have hermied or grown banannas.

Both root systems on each are very slow growing and weak! I am able to know this because my red d and mazar are in the same rez and the roots are double that of the bb.

I also heard a rumor that dp's blueberry has some fucked up genetics or what not.

Who else has grown Dutch passions BB and what are your feelings on it?

I could just be unlucky with my 2 but when i pay top dollar for seeds from a renown seed company, i expect top dollar genetics.

Not to mention their high cost, I will not grow it again but the DP mazar seems to be coming along just great! ill post a few pics later.

See which Pheno you get, I got the tall pheno that doesn't produce shit. My Blueberry was a beautifull plant with tiny, tiny little buds that finish a beautiful green color and taste like pretty much like any commercial weed I've smoked.

It makes one question feminized seeds, and large breeders who may have hired hands doing the work an expert should be doing. An expert with a psycological stake in the breeding of the beans.

I don't like getting taken for money but what really hurts me is having these shit plants taking up space that I need to grow med quality strains.

It's a crying shame.

Dutch Passion shot thierselves in the foot wen they went feminized with no experience in the work.i'm doin thier reg version rite now,day 25 flower today, so far no hermies..........yet...i did bluemoonshine fem. hermied like a banana tree. i pulled them off daily got 17 seeds out 14 ounces, ,dont forget they have to open up before harm is done and it doesnt do it all in one day.. i did thier orange bud fem. same also.not many seeds at all ,rarely saw one in the weed.so because somethin hermies dont panick. jus pull them off with tweezers wile the fans are off..R.

if you dont induce flowering 4 to 6 inches your gonna hava tree in your growroom,, BB is not easy to gro, extremely lite on nute .. can gro perfect using RO water with no nutes.lol. its not a good hydro plant seeing it thrives ina near dry container. jus thot i'd add that in. they need lots of oxygen high perilite content is a plus, since your already head deep,, add one tspoon of hydrogen peroxide for ea.gallon of water,place the water in jugs,,shake it up real hard lots of oxygen bubbles go to roots, use hydrogen peroxide only once to revive them, evertime you water shake the jug up good, youll see a difference ina week to 10 days.laterdo not add nutes to slow growin plants.day 25 flower,looks on time..R.

i had some DP bluberries never got to use them first grow had to kill them, second the died, then i stored them for a year and none of them came out,

Yea the one that grew bannanas is ridiculously tall and spaced out im really hating it. And yes the buds are developing slower than the others. unfortunatly i cant add h202 because im using botanicares pure blend line. Im seriously debating pulling the blueberries or moving them and giving the red diesel and mazar the whole rez. I have been extremely impressed with the red diesel, WOW is all i can say, and the mazar isnt doing too bad. FUCK you would think with all the cash their getting from charging the shit out of people for their seeds they could atleast get their genetics straight.

well couple seeds aint to bad.. i got two bad pacs of dp bluemoonshine all white 175.00.yesterday, so dont feel lonely...these are god feminized seeds i've used over and over ,,flying dutchman blueberryskunk, big buddah blue cheese,my currrent grow.50.00 for 10 good female beans .got a good crop las time. killer weed real potent, well underated strain with a 15% + thc. spacey high.

also if the blueberry is left alone , no nutes,RO water,awsome buds, huge, let it tdo its own thing, its better, because the one branching on the top on its on is the one that gonna put out a massive cola.have yu not grown before?Did you read a gr book. its a qite simple plant really.ive read a few gro books before i ever bot a lite.groing any weed is toooo simple, and they need leeser hep than you think,gd. luk.

I hear nothing but bad things about DP's feminized blueberry seeds. Suck man I'm sorry. My buddy has regular BB seeds from DP hopefully those come out alright. Best of luck with your future endeavors.

Watch out for DP BB If I were you Id read hobbes herm test thread. I grew 2 Dp BBs and I also had 2 other flavors in my garden consisting of 11 or 13 plants I cant remember now but the BBs took everything but 2 of my plants and turned them full blown hermie. I WILL NEVER GROW DUTCH PASSION BB EVER AGAIN ANY SEED FOR THAT MATTER. Go with Dj Shorts real Blueberry thats the true BB!! Good Luck in your grow buddy!

Are you talking about soil growing the bb? because i dont get how anything can grow in just water..I have one successful crop under my belt, more of a practice crop before i grew the expensive stuff.

Ive also been reading hobbies thread, very interesting. I just wish i would of read up more on fem seeds before ordering them. no worries though the bb hasnt popped any new bananas.

I am thinking of collecting them if they show again. How developed do they have to be to be usable for pollination? I like somas style of creating fem seeds and would like to try it.

i've got numerous grows of BB and bluemmoshine,, no problems here. i dont do thier feminized version .bad seeds.ive grown some monsters. yes if ytou got two like you described, thats the true BB. to get the one that branches at the top,,,your lucky thats dj shorts work with Dp if yu kniw anything about DP and dj short thier one in the same .or did yu know that ,. here. try this . i'm use soiless mixes 30% perilite ocean forest. RO water,gd luk.boy are you missin out.get reg. seeds.this shit has you near trippin.lol.the one on the rite is the brancher . 3oz off that one in 2gal. container ,,14 dry oz, 7 plants total .2 gal. container very little nutes every three weex.and these are the feminized las christmas,hermied,picked them off.no prob.17 seeds i got. i'm gonna use them two,,i wont buy feminized no more though jus. reg.

72F around the clok, 12 % humidity,under 600 watt lite air cooled, optimum conditions, good air exchange.started flowering at 4 to 6 inches.the secret to gettem real puple was an extra two weex , using a super carb adjusted to aggressive flowering 0-0-0 las 21 days only and RO water of course got this crazy lookin flowering. these crystalized unsticky rite where they stood from the carb.turning the carb to sugars promoting 20 % i believe thc content.

Why do so many people adjust to lower humidity levels?, cause Ive heard that sativas generlly like a little drier climate like 20% and above and then I hear indicas want it rite around 40-50%?

the lower humidity the more resin , the higher the humidity,bacterias,pathogens will destroy it ina a few days.BB is 80% indica, which means 80% of your plants will be this way,the other 20% represents the cross it made to get these seeds,get it. 2 phenos.youll rarely get 100% solisd 20 plants perfect the axact same it aint happening.not on this side of eternity.and i only been growin 10 yrs.

heres these present ones 25 days flower.so far so good.

thanks for the info raiderman. Yea i guess im overreacting a bit, the one that branched is a good plant with a lot of nodes, but it is developing a little slower. Ill prob have to go a week or 2 extra on her. so far no more bannanas on the 2nd though so thats good. I know lower humidity is better in flowering but not that it varies from sativa to indica thats really interesting.

I have grown the blueberry from bcseedking and never had a problem

jus be patient wen they transition to full budding at or around day35 ,youll be happy you bot them.some are slower than the seven yr itch,lol, but then like fas budding,,tons of sweet blueberry juice.yea the blueberry is a spittin image really of an over sized purpl kush plants wen finished.a very under estamated plant.
