Doug Stanhope @ The Token Lounge sept 15th

I know Sept 15th might be far away but he might sell out. Stanhope is by far my favorite standup comedian. If I was able to articulate my deepest thoughts and then able to put them into a comedic format and then also had the balls enough to prevay them on a stage , I hope it come out like him.

I love Stanhope and had no idea he was going to be at Token! I did go get tickets for it, so as of right now he is not sold out. I am now looking at the calendar and wondering how we can get through August quicker! Any ideas?

umm, get high, it has always worked for me to kill time.

Only $20 a ticket! Hows the parking at that
place, never been out that way. What's the
area like, possible to medicate in the car before
the show without getting fucked with by the
local po po?

I have not been there before, I am new to MI.

My personal opinion:

The Token Lounge is a semi-ghetto shithole.

Dont get caught smoking dope in your car. The westland cops are assholes and frequent the area because that place is shady.

The parking lot is hardly bigger than your typical bar parking lot, its not a big venue by any means. If you want to medicate in your car you're best bet is to do it in the neighborhood across the street prior to parking.

Favorite Stanhope joke I did a concert for fallen cops, it was called pigs in blankets. Hes funny as shit I will have to try to make it to the show.
