Now that is a pile of worm castings!!!! Not a bad price either. I had to pay $30 for a 1.5 cf bag.

We hit 50 degrees yesterday up here in the EverGreen State! Woo Whoo spring is on it's way!!!!! Time to start collecting stuff to convert my metal covered carport to a sun collecting carport!

I was at Costco today & saw a whole stack of carports for sale $229.........tis the season....

i have a question about the plastic "cage" you have around the girls
last year the only issue I had was support. The wind ended up knocking my girls sideways
I ended up using a few stakes and PVC to tie the girls to to keep them up.
any tips to keep this from happening this year.
and is your "cage" for support? And if so what is it exactly

I used several layers of support. There's a re-mesh wire cage and then Horti-trellis. You can't see them in the pictures, the plants grow thru it....The PVC was used to hold up sheet plastic....

what is horti trellis?
i was thinking something similar to the wire cage.
but figured when the plants hit 5-7 feet (which is about my limit) then it almost becomes unusable, and isn't really helping

im using some 10 gallon smart pots
and a few 25 gallon buckets. If that means anything.

Horti trellis is that plastic netting you see in the pictures. You drape it over the plant for support. My plants got so big I had to make a gizmo to apply it, kind of a big PVC pitch fork. lol....
