High Gang,

HELP....

I have never done a grow before and this plant in question is from bag seed that sprouted unexpectedly and much to my surprise it started showing pistils in like week 3 or so of veg.

A few posters said nothing to worry about be happy it's a female, well now it's like a 9 or ten days later and this is looking to me like it might be a auto flower strain, but having never seen one other then some photos on here, I was hoping to get some feed back from you all.

I'm also wondering if it is an auto flower, should I just leave it as it is in the veg area or should I move it out over to flower room? Yes I have been reading and know they will flower under any light once they hit an age, just wondering if flower room lights would make it yield faster & or better?

Sure would like to hear input from the community, thanks.

no idea of wheter or not its an autoflower, leave that for somone else to answer.

However regardless of if it is or not, you should leave it in the veg. anyways. If its an autoflower you want more hours of light than dark, and if its not an auto flower, id imagine you want longer veg. time anyways.

well yea if it's not a auto flower I was going to leave it in veg for a while longer.... I'm wondering what it is, because it seem to be budding or at least all leaf and nodes are getting pistils everywhere bigtime (double click photo #6) and I don't think that is normal in veg unless it's a auto flower strain?

looks like an auto or a very photo-sensitive plant (will flower with short night periods e.g. 16/8 )
good luck

If you keep your light on for more than 18 hrs a day and the plant continues to flower...yes it could be an autoflower. If it goes back to vegging, you have just "supercropped" your plant and expect it to get very bushy. A few threads about that on here. Only time will tell. Good Luck!

if you've got them under 18/6 or better and it's doing that, safe to assume it's an autoflower.
autoflower means it evolved to flower under less-than-perfect (ie. not 12/12) light, most will still perform *better for you under 12/12.

Autoflowers usually show sex in like 15 days. The growth can be quite rapid and idependent of light cycles. reccomend you stick to your current lighting for a few more days and record the growth.

Cheers

Hey all, thanks for the replies... This plant has been in 18/6 (CFL) veg lighting, it showed it's first pistils in like 3 weeks or less, then it really took off with pistils showing up every where like crazy, looking much like the big girl I have in the flower room, so it was tripping me out....

Having come from bag seed and being my first grow this sudden and unexpected growth pattern was throwing me for a loop, I was checking out the auto resource thread to try to learn and see photos, but that thing is 500+ posts. At this point I don't have the room in the flower area to place this plant, I will have room for it in there in about a month, however if I was strongly advised it needed to go in there I could make it work.... I need to keep short, under 8 feet tall and from what I see in the other threads is, it seems auto's stay fairly short anyway and this is looking great for now in 18/6 lighting.

Thank you all for chiming in, your lowering my stress level and wondering WTF to do with it.
