Don't seem to be growing!

I have a few ladies in shed they are on 12/12 in the 6th week, The light being a 600 Watt temp between 75 & 80 F. " This is during day time" So at night I have a heater going every 3 hours to help keep the temp up, as it is cold out side below zero. I have noticed the temp does drop to around inside my shed to 63 F ..
My problem is the flower don't seem to have grown much at all at week 6 12/12 ? Could the temp drop be the problem...

The reason I run 12/12 during hours of 8am till 8pm. Is to avoid been spotted if you know what I mean!

The ladies are fed 4 pints of feed each every 24 hours EACH and has been the same since week 2 of flowering... They was going great up untill week 4 flowering now
they look as if the haven't grown at all at week 6.... The flowers seems to have shrunk instead of bulking up.... Can anybody please shine a light to why my ladies seem to be struggling to grow!!!!

Big Cheese are the plants...

If I was to change light hours during night pm to am do you think may help my ladies! As I have feeling the temp drop during the night maybe my problem :(

Help I am stuck ...

Thanks guys....

Mid 60's is a good lights off temp. You want about 15 degrees temp swing from high to low.

Changing your light timing won't do anything. Your plants only know light and dark, they are not getting confused.

Don't know about your nutes but if they look green and healthy they probably are. Perhaps you are just impatient. Healthy buds do not "shrink".

2L of feed every 24 hours? Methinks not. I feed every 7-10 days myself. Anyone else care to chime in?

It's probably too late to switch light schedule. Temps being a little cold during the day can slow growth. But yours seem so be ok. You should water a few times in between feedings to prevent salts (nutrients) building up to toxic levels. What strain and do you have any pics?

I think maybe you are barking up the wrong tree, you said:

  • I have a few ladies in shed they are on 12/12 in the 6th week,

  • Well, the stretch is quite possibly done at the 6th wek of veg... they will not get bigger...
Now, they are just plumping up, at a very slow rate... I just think, you do not see it...
I think everything in your grow is fine... Plants green? Buds everywhere?
Although, trying to figure it out with out pictures....

60 f is fine and has no effect on growing...
If you want to really change the lights ...
8 am timer comes on.... on for 4 hours then lights off at noon...
then at mid night turn them back on till 8 am...
Then re-set timer for 8 pm to 8 am...
Plant didn't loose anything, and even the light is exact...
    Good Luck man...

The feed is put in on timers 4 times a day = out to 4 pints each :) Feed is CoCo A & B 35 mil to 18 litrs and 18 mil of Bud XL... i have 4 fans going to get temp down, I did note when timer failed on fans my temp was 120 F :) that was in week 2 but all ok now... However i have know idea why buds seem to be shrunk compared to week 4 they look exact the same.. this is how they look now :( Not happy at minute..
apart from leaf growth.. low.jpg

hmm id get a soil thermometer and stick it in there, you want the roots to be between 60 and 70f.
you may need to insulate the buckets or run the heater the whole night but maybe at canopy level (not with the heater facing the canopy)
you probably could cause a fire with this timer that failed, make sure you use heavy duty timer rated for the usage of the heater
given your temps though, i think your soil temp should be around 67 (unless the heater is hitting the buckets)

if you could do a nighttime grow, you could use a tankless water heater to heat and also supply some co2, allowing temps to go up (still want to keep roots at 60-70)

co2 is useless during night cycle so youd need a way of keeping it warm during the day if doing that.

What sort of medium do you have them in? I based my previous post on the assumption you are growing in some kind of soil. Did I have a thinking error?

forgot this was a drip setup try using a water heater (stainless) and put the reservoir outside or inside and insulate it or something, and insulate the lines that feed the buckets. this should govern the root temps IF that was your problem. with given temps though, the roots should be happy
regardless of what you do, insulating the pots will help the water used govern the temps.
when the coco gets to near dry it will lose temp faster, so it's important to probably go with 68f (high side) for water given

they do look a bit pale

I'm betting on water temp. They were growing well with higher temps, right? Now that it is getting colder, the growth will slow, guaranteed. A heat mat that is used for seed starting would help if placed under your pots. This would be the most effective way to get the water temp up around your roots, in my opinion. Good luck

Okay answers my ladies are of the floor on a table what is 16" of floor back end and 14" front what allows feed back into my tank.
The shed is very much insulated even the floor :)
As for heavey duty timers ARGHHH I didn't even know there was such things!! I am using 1 digital timer that is set for the ladies feeding times. :) and those 15 min timers set for 12/12 and my fans.
And as for the soil is a "Top grade miracle gro compost" I have used before when i had last ladies in the house worked fine :) This is my 1st grow in my shed. And they do pong pungent sweet smell lovely.

here is more pics I just took including my temp gage and moister meter hope this helps some one to help me i feel a problem at 6 weeks into flower..

As i said 6th week and to me they look like they did at week 4 on 12/12

Being these are big cheese, Harvest I think to mid feb at 10th week that ok ? or 12 weeks. any answers welcome..

I hear so many stories about feeding our ladies, I feed mine 3 pints of feed every day, I use a timer that runs 3 mins a time 4 times a day that measures out to 3 pints each over the 24 hours.. :)
Yet here I can only assume those who say feed once a week or once ever 3 times a week must be drenching the plants and leaving them too dry a few day!

Well I must say Mine love Breakfast Dinner Tea & supper .. I guess we all have our own way/....

You may have build-up in your pots. Have you checked the ph or ppm of your runoff? Those are definitely sativa, so they will take a while(maybe 12 weeks). They'll fill out more later.

Whoa. If that is "soil" you dont have to feed everyday. I have one of the same meters, it doesn't work. Maybe yours does? worth testing, they have calibration formulas(3.0, 7.0) to let you know. I would def think that you are over fed. I would flush with water, lots.

I built a grow shed and moved everything in there about 10 days ago and Have extreme cold outside but perfect temps inside also. I haven't heard anybody ask about your humidity because thats my only issue to deal with. With the heater and lights even with watering the humidity is extremely low. If I don't do anything the humidity drops to like 10% and that will stop growth.
