yes it is! Just concerned that giving them a dose of N mid flowering will have detrimental effects. Maybe I'm reading to many internet comments!

You can delay flowering by giving large amounts of N late in flower. But what your doing does not qualify as 'large amounts', your just keeping your plants green and happy. Yellowing during flower is nothing more than forum myth with no botanical or horticultural bases...........
