I stopped smoking 23 days ago, I guess that's nothing for some people but I'm a regular smoker when I smoke. I'm convinced that when I stopped smoking 2-3 days later I feel extremely energized and motivated and I guess my brain is trying to fight that idea today. I wanted to pick up a gram and enjoy a smoke but I was wondering can smoking a gram, after weeks of not having any lower my energy back down to where I have to start this process over? And does anyone know if weed actually lowers testosterone? I've always been a sativa smoker and still feel like it can make you tired..

There's a lot to consider, as noted in various journals. For example, testosterone secretion from the gonads versus adrenal glands, or subject age and maturity, or concurrent use of cigarettes, alcohol, coffee or other possible inhibitors. What if you switched to a cannabis tea, rather than smoke? Elevated estrogen levels may promote aggression more than testosterone, and Davis & Fattore (2015) noted important sex-related differences in cannabinoid-induced effects on reward and motivation. While many studies do show lower plasma concentrations in heavy cannabus users (from rats to humans), most focus on the plant's potential harm, not benefit, due to its legal classifications. What of the person with severe muscular pains or mental anxiety or sleep deprivation who gets back to normal with cannabis, rather than recreational use?

I would say recognizing when you're abnormally lethargic is a good indicator that you're off balance...

That's odd that sativa makes you tired for me it makes me energized and alert, which is why I smoke it at work. However are you smoking pure sativas or hybrids? Me I like an 80/20 sativa for the day and have found that any strain with a higher indica percentage gives too much of the effect of the indica and will make me a little tired. Not sure about it effecting testosterone maybe but I don't think so, it's an aphrodisiac so I can't see it lowering your test levels.

If you want lots of energy try a strain with a thc of like 12 % I'm a heavy smoke mostly concentrates but the dispensary was about out here and they had only sweet purple in, it was only 12% and a 50/50 hybrid but some really quality awesome buds! The high was very energetic
