Does Walmart Have It Out For Us?

I have noticed that after i see a product mentioned in here to help growers and its sold by Walmart, well that product is not carried much longer, examples are light bulb splitters for simple cfl bulbs, then the 4 pack of 2700k 23 watt bulbs are now discontinued... kinda strange i think, then there is the recent news of them fireing a Mi employee for legally using medical mj for his cancer. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35913492/ns/business-careers/t/wal-mart-worker-fired-over-medical-marijuana/
It is getting to the point we might need to start sending these guys a message, if they want war then they are NOT getting our money for clothes, food , and other things if they are going to attack us.. United we stand!

Good luck with that. Walmart is definitely bullshit but I doubt they would even blink if every member of rollitup boycotted them. More likely than not they dropped those products because there was low demand or because of a low profit margin. It's a fucking business.

This ^^

They will discontinue things all the time if it's not making money or if the manufacturer stops dealing with Wall-Mart for some reason ... could also be to create demand for products befor they open a new line ( of splitters ) at an inflated price that cost them less .

So it has nothing to do with it being a growers aid :)

Corporate big boys don't give a fuck about anything except money ... they don't care how or where they get it ...so long as they get as much as they can !

Feel free to boycott them and i support your choice :)

Peace

Yes walmart has it out for you they should have the title "door greeters" be "A** lubers". That way when you get to costumer service for a return your ready to get screwed.

I believe Wal-Mart will eventually, one day... end up having everything inside it. It's going to end up eating other corporations and even small businesses (i.e. -some Wal-Mart 'Super Centers' even have a McDonald's right inside it. I mean, really? Do we really need that? Does Wal-Mart really need that, inside the business?

IMO, no.. they shouldn't. It makes America and its citizens look bad. It has branded us as "The Obese Nation" I believe is the correct name. Wow.. that's kinda scary. I mean is society today, really that addicted to greasy ass fast food? I mean sure, it's alright to have it every now and then.. but do we really need it thrown into people's faces.. inside a Wal-Mart? No, we do not. It doesn't only make America look bad - It can also actually trigger hunger in people that weren't even a bit hungry before they walked through the entrance to Wal-Mart... causing them to more than likely grab a snack or a full dinner right from McDonald's.. and therefore can cause people to gain weight that they hadn't counted on gaining.

I mean.. lol.. it's pathetic IMO. I bet 80% or so of Wal-Mart shoppers weren't even thinking about food at all, before they entered the Super Center with the McDonald's right inside it.

Anyhow, I could go on and on about that. I don't agree with it.. no.

So, yeah.. I really do think that if Wal-Mart was smart.. they would go ahead and open a friendship with Taco Bell. Which is owned by 'YUM!' brands Inc... which also happen to own KFC and a bunch of others. The owner of 'YUM!' brands is a rich bastard too.. - Any how I'm getting spaced out here with my thoughts..

Peace.

The Super Center near me has a McDonalds, Car repair, Barber, Hair dresser, Custom Bakery, Nail Salon, Optical center, Shoe Repair, and even a RedBox. Walmart is evil and even used take out life insurance on it's workers and then when they would die Walmart would keep the money and not help the family.

I know Michael Myers is kind of a douche but I caught his movie Capitalism: A love Story, scary shit.

Wal Mart buys discontinued and damaged merchandise to sell in its stores. That probably has more to do with it than anything.

FUCK WAL-MART!!!! you are correct in your assumption that Wal-Mart is anti growers. Go in there and buy up all the distilled water and flouro grow tubes and see if you don't make some new friends. by friends I mean cops and by cops I mean not your friends. DO NOT GIVE THESE CHINESE-DICK-SUCKING TURNCOATS A FUCKING DIME!!!

There is no way to put Wallymart out of business. Even if all the marijuana users had twittered each other about how at 12Noon on May, Friday the 13th 2011 they will all go to Walmart and make stools on the home furnishings department merchandise, nothing, no matter how sinister, would make them close their doors forever. Only GOd can slay the beast, or a ...> OOOHNOOOOOo economic crisis!!!! but that would be unlikely. Walmart could buy Ford and make a super cheap car from lawn mower engines and tupperwear plastics, or better yet, HEMP PLASTIC!!!!!!

In retail, every square foot of floor space and shelf space is valuable real estate to them. Space equals money and if what ever is in that space does not make money, it is out of there.
I think Walmart is bad for the USA...but that was because I used to work for them when they first came to town before Sam Walton died. The majority of stuff was USA made. After Sam died...your hard pressed to find American made goods. The "American Made Products" died when Sam did.
Now almost all the money Walmart makes goes to the headquarters in Arkansas. What communities get in "community building sponsorship" is nothing compared to what the communities loose. And they totally screwed over that medical patient when they said they are an Arkansas headquarters and moved the legal case to Arkansas jurisdiction...a state that is NOT a medical state.
Trust me people, it is all about the money and nothing else. Walmart looks at their own employees as their highest threat for shop lifting.

"if the manufacturer stops dealing with Wall-Mart for some reason "

-Not true, did you know that Wal-Mart was the first retailer to ever make companies bid for not only the ability to sell their product in Wal-Mart but Wal-Mart will literally put multiple companies in the same room for the same essential product for hours bidding to save literally a penny per product?

"
Yes walmart has it out for you they should have the title "door greeters" be "A** lubers". That way when you get to costumer service for a return your ready to get screwed. "

-Not true, Wal-Mart has one of the most lenient return policies to ever exist. If you're getting screwed on a 'return' you have absurd expectations and should take personal responsibility when purchasing an item.

"
walmart is the devil"

-Not true, the devil works for Wal-Mart.

"
Walmart is evil and even used take out life insurance on it's workers and then when they would die Walmart would keep the money and not help the family. "

-Not true, when you work for Wal-Mart yes they take life insurance out on you but you name a beneficiary who receives money. If none is named then yep, guess who incidentally gets the money.

"
Wal Mart buys discontinued and damaged merchandise to sell in its stores. "

- Not true, in fact looks like whoever thought this makes up a lot of information they spout because it doesn't even make sense.

"
Meh ill continue to buy from them, saves me gas than running around town to get Shit. "

-That selfish mentality is detrimental to the economy.

"
your assumption that Wal-Mart is anti growers."

-Not true, it is **you're** and why the fuck do you think Wal-Mart gives 2 shits about you growing? If you are getting supplies from them they are happy, they have literally 0 a giant fucking 0 amount of interest in why you are purchasing it.

"
This is how Wallmart gets the stuff from China."

- I wrote a comprehensive paper on the growth of China due to their utilization of globalization the past 2 decades. China is doing the following, bleeding dry the gross surplus spilling out of the USA, Europe, and Asian Trade and investing a lot of surplus in underdeveloped countries to maximize profits by also helping them become developed thus ensuring a sound investment. I realize that statement makes it sound like China is a sentient being but it is just a personification to the trend.

"
The "American Made Products" died when Sam did."

- Reminds me of the South Park episode with Wal-Mart and how it was AI etc. A great analogy of how now it is an evil, automated corporate machine, with the only goal of making as much money as possible.

" Walmart would sell human shit if they knew they could make money off of it."

-Yep, deadly pathogens and all.
