Does this look to yellow!!! my friend gave me his plant!

My friend was growing a big bud and amnesia haze under two desk lamps for two weeks in two different soil mixs of good soil and nutrients. My plants have been growing for 3 weeks and its a big bud and the northern lights is 1 week and 5 days old. its been under a 400watt lamp and in a box of cover around with aluminium foil and i have a fan blowing at them 24/7. i have been doing 24 hours of light. I got my friends plants two days ago.

We need a photo to help.

These are mine! the big one is the big bud and the small one is the norther lights! 2 or 3 leafs of my big bud are sort of looking black strips and curling. addvise me

Assuming these are the 2 you inherited, it's hard to tell with the lighting background...other than they are stretched. That should right itself under the 400w.

I don't think that plant likes the soil and I don't like it either.

The curling appears to be a bit of heat stress, other than that I don't see anything offhand that looks concerning.

I concur with this, I think they look very nice and bushy.
