Hey dertmagert.. what are those light splitters called(the things you have each two cfl's plugged into)? I've never seen anything like that before. where would you be able to purchase them? i'm growing under 4 cfl's all have their own plugin.. those splitters would help tremendously.

just trying to make my baby's grow.lol. well here's a pic of my new set up i just raised it so i have two levels one for vegies and the other for flowering. i plan on hangin a 400 watt hps fixture from the divider and wrap the 4'x2.5' walls with mylar. sound good?

home depot/lowes.... they are called splitters (go figure), they are like $1.98 a piece.

like he said... lol.. but when i went to get them at home depot they only had 1 LEFT.. i found them at walmart for 99 cents each.. im thinking about splitting the splitters.. four bulbs out of each available socket... ahhh.. i can smell the fire now.. :fire:

+rep for using the same cheap humidity dome as i do.
but warning to ya. I did an experiment in high school with a green greenhouse and all the plants died because they cant use green light to make food......that green bottle is changing all the light from your bulbs......into green light.
just a thought for ya.

cut a slit in a straw and use it to hold up the plant........Once the stem grows strong enough it will stand on its own without the straw and you can get rid of it.

Might also be due to overwatering if you just watered it......

that sounds like an awesome idea... but i just tied it up to a thick toothpick thing...its all good.

thanks for the input.. BUT the clone i put in the green humidity dome is doing 300 times better than the one without it.. that could be due to the different mothers but the one i put in the green dome is AS TALL AS THE MOTHER 11 days after rooting.. go figure.. The experiment results u mentioned make perfect sense.. But i dont need to worry about that because now i have a cloning chamber ( no more humidity domes in the over crowded veg chamber )

Hey before i post pics... im getting a little nervous... the edges of my leaves are turning upwards, any reasons why? they are 9 days old, good color and seem healthy.

on another plant that is about 6 days older has two small yellowish tips on thge edge of a leaf.. anything to be worried about? the temp is a little high around 85 ish. i have a small fan blowing on the plants too.
