Does the white hairs grow green before you flower them

When the hairs grow are they green before they change to white. I know those things are not leaves because they are short and pointy. They are not white but green. They are growing above the steam next to the leaves and I still have them 24/0 of light. I hope they are all females!

i am pretty sure they are not leaves because there's already leaves growing next to the short pointy things.
Those are what are known as preflowers, every cannabis plant has them, they are not pistils, u will know when u see long ass white hairs shooting off the topsbongsmilie

No, flower appear white and in 2's.

The little single green pointy things coming off the stem are called "stipule"

those arn't the pistils if thats what your thinking, i know there is a name for them i just can't remember if you look at a diagram of a plant for sexing it will show you that these are not what you look at... those are however potential bud sites (male or female)

i noticed the same thing early in my carrier and did a lilttle seaching on it.

good luck with your grow, hope you get a bunch of bitches and no dudes

EDIT: Pistillate preflowers are located at the node between the stipule and emerging branch.
