From what I have read about water curing the THC will not degrade and there are not enough trichomes falling off to be worried about. In fact, because your THC is suspended in water, the resin will break down much slower than in air. Remember: Air and heat degrade THC. The trichomes on the inside of the buds are what you should care about. The outside of your buds will get rubbed off whether you like it or not, by bags or jars or whatever you sit it in/on. THC is not water soluble which is why you cannot make tea infusions effectively with it. I will be water curing soon and I have faith that it will produce a much smoother smoke with much less chlorophyll than regular bud.

i dont think thc is water soulible but the only problem i could see with this method is the tricomes falling off when being tossed in and out of the water. and having moldy bud
When water curing there is no chance of moldy bud. Mold grows on a damp area, not a wet one.

I water cured an O from my first grow and it was great smoke. Pure white ash left in the bowl.

my mom water cures her bud and the only downfall to water curing is you will lose half the yield if you cured it normal

THC is not water soluable. It will not degrade in water. BUT the bud material will break down a bit and result in a bag appeal that is not as good as air dried bud bag appeal. Its much faster and better way of curing bud the end result is not as good looking and less bud weight.
