Nice! That about says it all right there. =)
This is not entirely true. Some strains yes.i can tell you for certain that having 95 degree temps throughout flowering will completely kill the end product.
Most of these strains "originated" indoor.depends a lot on where strain originated a hot climate plant will tolerate more heat
from a cool climate plant will tolerate colder nights
just my opinion no proff to bak it up
...I believe he was saying that an Indica will tolerate cold better than a Sativa. Most of these strains "originated" indoor.
agreed. but regardless of how well those plants may turn out, they would have still turned out much better with more ideal conditions. "surviving" isn't always good enough. 85 degrees isn't such a big deal inside, but 95 starts making problems. typically (not always) if someone is unable to control the temperature in an indoor growroom, they probably don't have much of a grasp on the humidity and ventilation either. and if i lived somewhere where it reached 115 in the shade i would slit my throat just to bleed cool blood. that must be fucked up. to be so fucking hot that when you bleed it feels cold to the touch. This is not entirely true. Some strains yes.
Afghani #1 and Hindu can survive very hot and humid temperatures. Other strains as well, but this is what works for us where it can reach 115f in the shade.
It's been a hell of a long time since I ahve seen a plant that was either or. Fact is, you can get an indica looking strain that acts in some ways like a sativa. We have bred these plants to to point where these two simple designations aren't as meaningful....I believe he was saying that an Indica will tolerate cold better than a Sativa.
