Does my plant need 18hrs of light if im growin outdoors

1st timer.... Well i no at the beinging of the grow its soppoused to b 18hrs of light then u switch to 12hrs, i was wondering if im growing outside does that matter??

Seeing as how it grew out in the wild before man. I don't think it'll be a problem doing it outside.

my first crop was a couple a seeds i thought i'd plant outside in pots and they all did fine in a newbies hands

When you do it outside, just make sure you are doing it the right time, I believe towards the End of April Beginning of May is best for Outdoors, but varies upon ones geographic location.
