Hey riu I was wondering I know that lollipoping is good as it makes more effective use of ligjt but I was wondering for the lower branches that get somewhat good light, if I remove the small budsite will it help make those popcorn nugs dense?

Well yes and no, if you cut the top of a branch it will focus all of it's energy on the lower growth, but the tips of each branch receive the most light so they grow larger than the lowers that are shaded by fan leaves.

Trimming out inner bud sites will help promote larger cola's on your branches. I like to lollipop the bottom branches that wont see light and remove inner bud sites that also wont see much light and would be nothing but popcorn buds.

Everybody has their own way of doing things.

My friend had three foot tall plants he was putting into flower. They looked like crap. The first round made nice top colas and small ass popcorn that was no good for anything cept hash so the next round he put in i butchered his three foot tall plant so that only eight inches of top growth were left on the plant all around. It looked hilarious. Three foot plus plant with a bowl cut. That plant now looks sooooo much better than all the others. Eight inches of solid bud sites that i think will make one long cola. Ill find out in about two weeks what the yield comparison will be, but i know there wont be any popcorn crap. Only trophys :):):)

Ive tried both ways and I have to agree with Uncle ben, do not remove any foliage. When you remove branches the plant will stress and must divert energy to repair and this is a waste, also the small budsite leaves are bringing more energy into the plant than without them. The main colas tend to be bigger if all foliage and branches are left on.
