Does home made co2 work

just a small update, i was having a issue in my veg tent with extremely slow growth. i ruled out most things and came to the conclusion that it may be a lack of Co2.

I went ahead and mixed up the DIY i explained above and within 3 days i saw fantastic results. My plants are growing 3x faster now. i dont have a meter but i know its working. they went almost 2 weeks with little to no growth and i put the Co2 in and they exploded. so i dont think i need a meter to tell if its working, simple observation is telling me that its doing its job.
I have 2 1 liter bottles with this DIY co2 and I have loved them ever since I have put them into the grow. You can kind of make them out in my grow journal. I seriously doubt that even 2 of them could produce enough co2 to damage the plants and with no other alternative they are better than nothing. I have one with the hose feeder right above the plants and the other taped to a tower fan. If you are a hard core drinker, I have read that you can even drink the alcohol that they will produce.. but I am not a drinker so..no. lol.

not recomended to drink the alchohol as it can contain contaminants and make you really sick. Unless you really sterilize everything before hand.

i tried all that diy gimmicky stuff, in the end it just wasn't worth all the extra work, the smell and I wasn't even sure it was increasing yields.

If you have a large carboy like 7 gallons you can keep a small closed space at 300ppm but not much better. It really is worth it to get CO2 tanks and selenoid.
