Does Anyone Know What They Might Be Missing?

Plant is 4 weeks into veg now, using good brand soil (Pro-Mix) RO water and evergreen fertilizer from garden stores (NPK - 30-10-10)
Any advice or ideas will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys!

you've got nutrient lockout, the evergreen fertilizer is too acidic, YOU CAN NOT USE IT for MJ.
Get some 20-20-20, flush your soil thoroughly with triple the amount of water to the soil in your container. Then feed it with the 20-20-20 at a rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.

OK I hear you on the evergreen fertilizer, thanks for heads up! that does make sense.
Now when I get my 20-20-20 fertilizer can I still use the same brand (Plant Prod Ultimate)? or you would recommend something else that we can obtain locally within Canada?

If I recall this 20-20-20 is a all purpose fertilizer correct? what NPK mix is best for bloom stages?
Do you always go by 1 teaspoon per gallon of water, what does your PPM meter stick show?

Use whatever brand you want, doesn't mater.
I use 1 one teaspoon per gallon for a weekly feeding, you probably could go higher.
I don't do PPM, no meter.
Plant Prod makes a tomatoe food that is ideal for late flowering 15-15-30., use the 20-20-20 up to mid flowering.
Always flush your soil with a heavy watering at least once a week, the peat breaks down with time and builds a high humic acid level if not washed out,

N toxicity, you can still use you tree food, but only 1/2 strength(900-1500ppm) every other watering. flush that plant real good then resume feeding after she dries out to the point of slightly wilting(this will make the roots search for more water)

from dirtsnowball; heres some reference pics:
no hate meant, nitrogen deficiency early stage -note the overall lime green color with lower leaves yellowing

healthy: -note its a bit darker than a punk rockers lime green Mohawk

nitrogen toxicity: -note its a bit darker than any green crayola crayon i've ever used

Hello guys, been working on keeping them alive and healthy.
Lately I've been fighting a new problem, almost every plant has yellow leaves that start on the bottom of the plant, going up and close to the main cola, seems to effect mostly fan leaves, then they turn dark, bronze, dry out and die off, very easy to take off the plant!
Going by the book, sounds like N deficiency? any help to guide me in the right direction would be just a miracle!

When you say 1 one teaspoon per gallon for a weekly feeding, what exactly does this mean, should I add fertilizer only once a week? and the rest of the time feed with only water? cause my plants dry out at least twice per week if not 3 times when it gets hot, thanks!

the yellowing from the bottom up is N deficiency, but the dieing part is from Phosphorus deficiency. both those problems will go away if you feed it a more balanced NPK diet. having your nute ratio lean towards K would be good too, it regulates nutes, and water.

you should feed her every other watering. if your nutes have higher npk ratios(20-20-20) like miracle grow/shultz then you need to feed half strength.
-full strength (1tbsp miracle grow all purpose = 24-8-16 this mix has too much N, any plant would be burned by such a high N
but half strength(1.5tsp) = 12-4-8 is much much better. you could use this every other watering. any thing balanced, and has around 10 Nitrogen is ok.

since your flowering its better to have the N lower then the P, and K should be equal or greater than P.
heres some nute examples:
-shults rose food = 18-24-24
-miracle grow tomato = 18-18-21
-miracle grow bloom = 10-15-10
-sensi grow B = 2.5-2.2-5.7
-flora nova grow = 7-4-10
-flora nova bloom = 2-1-6
miracle grow all purpose = 24-8-16
listed from best to worse for flowering needs. you can see that the good ones have more P and K then N. having N higher then P will significantly slow flowering. N promotes veg. P and K promote flowering. nice big plant by the way

Thanks a lot dirtysnowball!
I have read Mel Frank's book and have a decent amount of knowledge on this topic, but 2 heads are always better than 1,
no matter how much I know or learn everyday, I never close my doors and say I know it all!

Let's see if I can figure this out and hopefully avoid further issues in the future...
