Does anyone have an SB420 Exemption to waive the default plant limits?

My doctor said he would give me an exemption if I could provide an example of what such a letter might look like. If anyone has an SB420 exemption letter and was willing to scan it for me (with all personal information blacked out), I would gladly send them $5 Paypal.

I realize this is a small amount and it is more a small token of my appreciation than payment for services. If someone were willing to help me out of the kindness of their heart, I would be extremely grateful and would return the gesture.

I have one it is on the bottom of my recommendation it says the following.

SB 420 Exemption
Mr. Myname may be exempt from the usual SB420 limitations for the amount of medical cannabis grown and possessed. In order to obtain and prepare a sufficient amount of medicine for his personal needs.

Sorry I couldn't get you a copy of it sooner... have been busy with moving, and went on a sailing/fishing trip yesterday for my birthday. Spend your $5.00 on an elite account at rollitup if I've helped you :)

bump, offer is still good
I know a crazy old guy that has this type of form. He had a lawyer draw up the form for his doctor. The form held up. He was held up at gunpoint and had some plants stolen. He called the police and they came and took a report and saw his whole grow op and didnt do anything but track down the perps and arrest them.

A few weeks later the crazy old guy pulls out a finger while I am sitting at his house blazin with him. Scary thing is the finger wasnt his, he then explained how he had some people beat and take the trigger finger of the guy who pointed a gun at him. I decided I probably should distance myself from him.

Sorry for the useless story.

Don't think it should be too difficult to get accross the point to the courts from your doctors perspective. Your doc just has to be willing to testify in court for you. You're going to get arrested for sure if the cops come. In court you will deal with the exemption and get it dropped.

I was paralysed from a motorcycle accident so I'm pretty sure my doctor would put the most needed on my exemption letter and he wrote the following at the bottom of my normal physicians statement:

"SB420 guidelines are not adequite for this patient."

Just trying to make a gesture towards the point, I don't think it takes much to get the exemption part accross. It's just more so how is your in particular doctor feel about testfying in court for you and what he's willing to say for you.

Hope that helped. No scanner so I can't scan :(

This is what your looking for just replace the ones that need to be replaced.

SB420 was shot down by the Supreme Court. At least the quantity limits were. The rest was upheld.

So, the actual case law has set aside the quantity limits set forth in SB420. Technically there is no current limit in CA. However, each county has their idea of what is reasonable and they have a "hassle point" Those are usually the county guidelines. Here in Humboldt it is 99-plants or 100 sq ft. of canopy. That is NOT strictly enforced by our DA, but is by the DTF. So, you may get in trouble with the Sheriff's drug task force and get your shit taken, but the DA will not prosecute unless you are waaay over you limits here.

Concerning limits on possession created by the bill SB420, the California Supreme Court decision in People v. Kelly decided multiple issues. It agreed with both Kelly and the California Attorney General that the limits were an "unconstitutionally amendatory insofar as it limits an in-court CUA defense"

If you still want a name... Dr. Badgley in Eureka advertises on the radio regarding both basic and advanced scripts where he specifies quantities.
