does 24 hrs of light cause stress of hemis?

have my plants vegging 24 hrs of light heard that might be bad is this true and will it cause stress to move them to 18/6 schedule?

nope nothing wrong with 24/7 we can debate this all day. if anyone got a hermi this way thats what you get for using unstable genetics.

I haven't seen this as an issue and I run 24/0. You can blame anything isolated for a hermie, but generally from my knowledge it all boils down to genetics.

the things that will make a plant hermi is heat stress. a light leak when you go to 12/12 in the dark peroid. stress on the plant becouse lack of water. any thing that would stress a plant can make it hermi. but 24/7 should be no prob. just watch out for it being to hot. other then that you will be fine as long as you keep your plants happy.

i would say anything that is too far out of the ordinary will stress the plant. every plant expects a light AND dark cycle. nobody expects someone to be awake 24 hours a day.. why would you do that to your poor plant?

I just don't think it makes much of a difference in growth doing 18/6 or 24/7 but it will run you up a higher bill..
