Doctor Underground King Kong

Hello couldn't find nothing on this strain on the web so figured I would throw a couple pics up and hopefully give a report at the end.

Dr. Underground's King Kong

E.R.S.B. x Chronic

Pics are 14 days into flower. 1 out of 2 fem beans sprouted, started them May 1st ,vegged for about 8 weeks with a couple hiccups. Mites first 2 weeks, then thrips week 6 veg. Gave them mighty wash for the mites, and spinosad for the thrips.

She's under two 400 watt hps in 2 gal. Mikro cote pots. She's a li ttle over 5' tall and still stretching a bit.Looks like a sativa leaning pheno. No topping or training just a single cola bitch. Feeding her with Jack's citrus feed. Flipped her on July 1st.

Great looking plants. I also hope you follow through with more reports. I ran a Dr Underground Melon Gum and very much like the smoke. Also have a NY City Mango to pop down the line. Those are crosses of high priced Soma strains at about half the dinero. Figured they'd be worth a shot.

Hey thanks for the looks and replies guys I appreciate it... yeah I am gonna update pics as I go hopefully turns out good, like you said Amos chance at good genetics for cheap. I like the fact I can buy 2 seeds also, not really a pheno hunter. I've heard good things about the melon gum. Glad it came out good for you. I've also grown their Crystal meth and it was a nice plant and good smoke. Matter of fact thats what i've been handing out to people with postive feedback on it. When you pop that NYC mango throw her on lol.

I did come across a King Kong strain through All Star Genetics, dont think its the same thing dr underground has though. They list a Northern lights haze as the momma.

She's been a pleasure to grow so far. No smells yet though lol. Starting to get a lil frost to her.

Week 7 today. Been a rough last couple weeks on her. My stoner ass never transplanted out of the 2 gal micro cote containers so my conclusion is she root bound pretty good. Burnt some big ol Fannies up with lock out. Put a stake in the soil to see, and all I could do with two hands to break through the surface roots lol. But the buds still look pretty ok I guess

Buds actually look pretty nice, wouldn't worry about them too much about it. Sometimes it is a challenge to keep eeverything nice n healthy but other times its easy.. I blame it on the plants not being able to adapt to my inability to keep a stable PH.

Lmao I like that. Gonna have to steal that one.

Post em up bro would love to see them. I ran the crystal meth a couple grows ago. Turned out real good. Nice smoke. I think Amos Otis has growed out some of their gear as well. Might try the pink kush next.
