Looking awesome Doc! Love it man. You waste no time at all. I have quite a bit of different stuff going too right now!

With the way things are in CA right now I have been thinking to drop my plant count some. If I do I will just do 6 in 30gl in the 8*8. Next round I am planning 16 10gl though! Gotta make $$ to bring you down for shed building.. LOL!
Man life is to short to just sit on my ass:)

this new set up is really looking great man. That jungle looks very happy and healthy. I like the way you set up the trays underneath with more dirt in them. Did you cut the bottoms off the grow bags, or is it just for extra roots if as they need it?

edit: lol I just saw the post about cutting the bottoms out :), and I agree with SG. I have put 5gallon bags of dirt ontop of others, and the roots grew down very nicely into the second. I think your setup will be great for the plants to get exactly what they want and need.

Yes that's all and I did cut the bottoms out. Figured more roots more fruits right ;)
Worth a try to see since I am using them anyway
It will work man. I have found boating the smaller smart pots into the bigger ones works awesome and even better when cutting the bottom out. I've even put a 5gl on top of another 5gl full of dirt for a double high action (no bottom cut out in that scenario). LOL

Your garden looks phenomenal and especially for how much you've had to move around. I know first hand how tough that is. great work doc.

Yea, after seeing your pics it clicked in my mind. Im planning on doing that with my outdoor plants, just planting the whole damn smart pot :) Would you cut the bottom outta it?
