Doc Says I Have To Use a Vape.

I just got my MMJ and the Doc says I have to use a Vape. or Eddibles.
I've smoked for many years and have no idea what the high is like.
Can any one tell me how it works? What part of the weed is smoked?
If you can still cook with the leftovers what am I going to Miss?
Any recomandations???:confused:

Vapes are the shit. It still gets you very high. Basically you're baking the weed so that the THC vaporizes, but the the plant material SHOULD remain unburned. If you have the temp too high, the plant material will combust anyway. I have this thing called a vaporstar that fits into my bong. Neat little thing and only 40 bucks. Here's a pic.

Whenever I've smoked vapes its the high is different. Thats why I like smoking bongs because it's more of a stone with a lot of body sensations.

The only real difference that I can tell is the taste....I use my bong for good stuff, and pull out the vaporizer for the mexi-special that tastes horride, High is just fine either way imo...

i've smoked for years, that is until i got my volcano vaporizer... i've tried others but nothing compares to the quality and sheer enjoyment i get from mine... in fact i gave all my pipes away, and until last monday literally had not smoked (only vaporized) in 8 months... it is too bad you can't smoke anymore, but a vaporizer will really get you off just the same (even better sometimes) as your pipe, bowl, bong, or blunt... plus my weed budget goes much further now, i can get high high off of an 8th for like a week + as opposed to just one or two times... plus after i'm done with the weed, then i bake or make tincture with what's left (which will get you f-ed up also) and there is no worries about tar and all that bs... if you get a quality vaporizer (im not saying the volcano is the only one, just the only one i love) it will be your new favorite toy within about two days... don't worry, not being allowed to smoke anymore is not the end of the world, it's the beginning of a whole new one for you!

Very true. I haven't use the regular bowl for my bong in some time. it's not the same anymore. Once you get used to clean hits, going back to smoke just isn't appealing.

if you can, try someone else's or when you go to a dispensary see what they have... i know several advertise vapor lounges, they must have vapes for you to use / rent whatever... but i've got to say it, for me there is nothing better than the good old volcano...

I was thinking about something like an Erbi I can take with me.

My experience, after 12 years of smoking, and recently getting a volcano is; nothing is as quick and easy as the gravity bong. The volcano takes a while to heat up, i go through just as much if not more weed "trying" to get and stay high. the high i get from the vape/volcano is kind of "weak" compared to a smoking high, and tends to go away faster. good luck though~

Vapostar looks really interesting. Of course, I'm just going to fashion my own for enjoyment and then pass it off to a dear friend. I think it will go to great use on his percolator.

My experience with the silver surfer vaporizer has been fantastic. I can still get the lung paralyzing hits i want, with zero combustion. It will take you a week or two to really know how to milk it for all its got. At a third of the cost (reliable ebay source) of the volcano, i think it certainly is the best deal for your money. No cheap ass, dirty gross chemical taste like other vapos. just clean herb all the way home. I have a tiny bubbler that i run the tube through, and it makes for a vapo bong of unparalleled quality. works for any bong basically. So you can still bong, just the heat source is the vape.

While at first i didn't want to switch from combustion to vape all the time, i seldom combust anything anymore. I much prefer the quality of taste, high, econ, and length of the vape these days.

Another vote for the volcano here, the taste and high is so much better than smoking imo. Although i still smoke joints too

i've got to re-endorse the volcano again... i've tried the iolite, the silver surfer, hot box and the silver surfer. and by far the volcano was the best flavor and longest lasting... ]however what you like is what you like... it lasts and lasts and when the bud is cashed, i put it aside and make a tincture with it... how cool is that?
