Do your friends know you're growing?

She will think you're stepping out and get crazy as hell to find out what exactly is going on.. Shit requires too much time/energy/thought
Hell yea it does. When I first started learning to grow I talked to her about all of it I knew if I was going to do it, she would have to be OK with it. She wasn't happy with the money part of it at first but I was like its way better than going out and buying it off someone.

It hasn't been an easy task. I just started growing again a few months ago, and she would be terrified at the idea of getting popped. I have about 2.5 acres of land, and we don't mow all of it. I keep it hidden in the thicker part of my overgrown yard. I also have a small box for clones tucked away behind a wall in my unfinished master bathroom. I conceal the little light which escapes with thick a black plastic sheet. We work staggered schedules, so I only tend to the box when she's not home. I used to do amateur pyrotechnics up until I had a ball mill explode in my hands last July. So she's already conditioned to me having hobbies which require I go outside periodically. She probably assumes that I'm watering my datura, turning the compost, feeding the dogs, or whatever other random things I occupy myself with these days. I'd much prefer to be honest with her about it, but she would flip shit on me. After I finish my harvest, and cure I plan on telling her. Ideally, she will understand that if I managed to hide a grow from her from start to finish that I am more than capable of being discrete, and it is very unlikely that I will be caught. I never told her I WASN'T growing... I just never told her I was either. She no longer condones me making pyrotechnics, my other hobbies are guitar and piano, both of which are very difficult right now with my gimpy hands and missing pinky, so I have to have something to keep me sane. Growing pot is that something.

Well, she's already letting you grow Datura, so maybe you can convince her that as long as you're growing cannabis weed you'll be much less inclined to ingest the Jimson weed, and she'll just be happy that you can't die from the cannabis?

I doubt it. She knows that datura isn't illegal to grow, and that I have absolutely no interest in eating it. Mushrooms, acid, DMT, etc. sure, but atropine and scopolamine? No thank you. I was given a cutting of the datura plant by my sister who likes the big white flowers that only bloom at night.

My grandpa had a mate, they were at a party. He was the professional swimmer for the area and hhe drowned, his other mate went to walk over a little hill to have a piss, the bump was like the size of a little coffee table he got half way fell over pissed his pants and passed out

Datura was growing outside of my mates place, he went to see them, they were living their until someone showed up, he walked in, they all foaming at the mouth and dribbling, they were speaking in tongues bud made no sense, then they sent him a letter on when to move in. dangerous tree stay away from it,

Only three of my mates that I've known since I was 14 know and I know I can trust them with my life. They also either grow or do much more serious stuff, so we ain't going to ever dob in each other

Yeah, she's pretty pissed at me. Had to tear everything down to help appease her. She had to go into work about 15 minutes after I got home, so we didn't really talk about it much, but she made it clear that she was rather displeased with me.

Damn dude, that sucks.

It sure does. One of my females was budding, and I had to just salvage what I could get from it. Since I harvested so prematurely I only wound up with 8 grams of unripened bud after trimming. Probably only be a couple grams once cured. Not really worth the effort, and fight that I'm having with my wife. Not even close. Let this be a lesson to anyone else in my situation.

Given your situation, I would finish your harvest, then quit.

Another big mistake can be letting your friends help you trim. I'll always use professional trimmers over friends.
Fuck friends and trimming. I have had only one person (friend) offer to help me trim and his exact statement was....
"Next time you trim I will come help, well as long as I can keep what I trim".

Of course he said that while he was sitting here smoking free weed.
