How many of you use cal mag? Regardless if you use it or not, please state if you use RO filtered water or not and what PPM your water comes out of the tap at.

HR I must always spread when I try repping you.
rep to the others who responded as well. I'm just curious as to the necessity of it. About 19 out of every journals I read have the use of cal mag.
But one thing I've realized is most of these folks dont have tap that comes out at 10-15 PPM

When useing ro its almost a must everytime to use a calmag sup of some sort!
The only other 2 reason are shitty nutes and a nute line with a high k ratio
Causing a cal mag def. So i must ask what you using nute?

I have yet to setup. Im waiting for a new location. Will be using GH 3 part(more than likely use Lucas formula for flower) with addition of AN's big bud and Overdrive.
Tap comes out no higher than 20 and the first time I tested it read 7. Im sure the new place will be a tad different but not much.

Tap water 250ppm , never use cal mag. Grows as well as in R.O. and cheaper / easier.

Should only need to use R.O. if you are brainwashed or really shitty well water.

since i find r/o water wasteful & doing nothing more than running up my water bill, i am very successful with tapwater.

my tap is 145 ppm. i generally add 100 (ish) ppm of calmag to every rez.

& i rarely mix up nutes over 850 to 1000 ppm.

read up on the connection between cal & flower production as its an important one.
