The NRA is a lobby for the gun industry. The gun / ammo manufacturers are the objective ($$); citizens are only what they parade in front of the cameras. The NRA ensures sales and profits of the gun industry. They want your money and they fan the flames of fear so people stockpile guns and ammo. Pretty freakin simple. And freakin simple folk buy it hook, line and sinker.

Remember Y2K panic? "They's comin' for ya guns." Total and complete bullshit. Another BS story that allowed the gun & ammo companies to fleece US citizens who should be spending their cash paying down debt or buying better quality food. These crazy-ass doomsday preppers are in the same boat. A little international news and it's Armageddon. Spend all the cash you don't have on freeze-dried food you can store in a hole.
I can agree with that. I signed up about a decade ago at a gun show ever since they've been sending me a couple letters a year asking me for a donation. They say things like my freedom is under attack act now yada yada definitely fanning the flames as you say. They have a number of products they like to push in exchange for paying a membership fee like hats, duffle bags and magazine subscriptions. All these things plus the letters is really where the money's going instead of the lobbying. Them preppers and shooting ranges buy up every 22 long rifle round in the store driving the price of ammo through the roof. I remember hearing a rumor that the feds were buying up all the ammo for practice but that doesn't sound right to me because they use nato and I cant see how a 22 long would be any good for training.

The real problem with guns is the loud noise they make. Like who needs that? Someday the world will transcend to a higher level of consciousness and enemies will find peaceful ways to euthanize each other, silently!

You guys stay safe this holiday. Don't drink and drive. Don't get rapped by gangsters with guns. This has been a public service announcement.

Donating to the NRA is like donating to a non-tax-paying billion dollar corporate hospital new cancer ward.

Making the 1% into the 1/2%

One man's variety is another mans armory. Perspective.

Guys with 15+ guns - that's a lotta variety. Maybe now he's a "collector".
Guns are a good thing to buy. They hold value. You can always liquidate them.

I have never paid full price for a gun and I bought most of them from licensed dealers. Most every gun I have can be sold for a profit.

Right, you may be legal for the cannabis, or only end up with a slap on the wrist for the herb. But because the two are together, resulting with time for the firearm. Not worth it.
