Do you try to *not* smoke everyday?

So is anyone like me were You try to give your mind time to "compute" or "rebuild" before you smoke again?

One reason i do it is to help control addiction to being high all the time. I understand the delicate balance between being sober and under the influence of mary jane. I feel I learn alot more from my "trips" if i space out my usage. Also my tolerence is kept low so when i do get high I become Reallllyy high, and enjoy it far more than if it was habitual like ive been in the past.

lol ill quit for months to focus on school and athletics then smoke for 2 weeks straight. But yea i dont like getting high all the fucking time after about 2 weeks of doing it whenever i can ill slow down. if u quit for a little while say a week or two then the potency goes up and u pull ur head out of ur ass. i do it all the time.

24days without smoking so far... i stopped to clean out for a drug test, but i needed to quit regardless... i dont respect it; i was one of the people that stay high every minute im awake... i'd even smoke a bowl if i woke up in the middle of the night to take a leak, then go right back to sleep.... i was abusive with it; in 12years of smoking, i havent went more than a few days without.. and it wasnt by choice... so i imagine this will give me the willpower to space out my smoking and not have to be high all the time once im back at it

Well, I've only been smoking for about a month and a half, but I have already noticed said effect - for about 2 weeks I smoked daily, often more than once a day, and then I ran out of weed for a few days. When I got high again after 3 or 4 days of going without smoking I noticed I definitely got much higher. I'd imagine the effects are basically similar on a larger, more long term scale.

I definitely like the idea of being careful to avoid addiction, but since I'm not too horribly worried about being addicted, my main reason to slow down every once in a while is to really enjoy being super high after a couple of days of not smoking. :)

Edit: Man, your avatar... mmm xDD

well for me....i am pretty much SOL if I smoked regularly. I normally smoke an 1/8th over the course of 2 months. I've tried to cut back even further (even though it's not alot).....I try to only smoke once a week.....with that being said, I found the best way (for me) to keep me from smokin' too much....end up recycling all the pop bottles and pop/beer cans....that way when it comes time when I raised the money....I think, "I've earned it.". So when I finally toke, it is such a eurforic feeling.

At least that's what I do, .02

What really has helped me over the years to help my addiction is looking at what it has done to my friends. I have all types of friends but the ones smoking all day everyday become more distant and basically dont care about anything but weed. thier world revolves around smoking everyday. need to workout? smoke a bowl... Get done working out? smoke a bowl... etc

i understand that that isnt healthy becuase really what you are doing is saying to yourself that my everyday life sucks without weed. When i try and control it to a point of recreation (weekends or only during special events like going to the movies etc...) I notice i give it alot more respect for what it can do. Its all about the balance. If you do it all the time you get used to it and it looses its effect.

Also when i havent smoked for a while and i go and do something like watch the incredible hulk for the first time while ripped off some danky dank... Wow it is just too fucking good lol nothing compares

I try not to smoke everyday but once I get into that kind of cycle I'll admit that it's hard to stop. I've gone from smoking everyday to quitting for boxing and I always feel amazing once I recuperate from a marijuana 'binge'

Moderation will always get you down the road in a more comfortable ride. What always amazes me is no matter how much I smoke for ANY length of time, it doesn't bother me to quit.
Unlike skittles, which nearly ruined me during my teenage years.

out. :blsmoke:
